original discussion (in italian): [ROM] [Z7MAX] [Android 7.0] CM 14.0 unofficial
or english: [ROM] [Z7MAX] [Android 7.0] CM 14.0 unofficial

The CM 14.0 (nougat Android 7.0) is a rom in full development, with several features still missing and probably some things not working.

is to be considered a experimental rom

support for dual sim is in an initial state: you can use two sim, making and receiving calls, use the data connection and SMS

for the moment you can not turn off a single sim (only airplane works)

what's working:

flash led/torch
dual sim
nfc (maybe)
led notification/charger
FM Radio

what is not working:

  • camera video rec not work on the app stock, if you need to rec a video just install footej camera
  • a lot of CyanogenMod customizations are not present or not working yet (circular battery, screen dpi, widget weather cLock etc etc)

13/10/2016 alpha3 (MD5: 0351b8a61a69d5b6162235e6fc162eea)

  • security patch October 2016
  • Initial fix for video recording (experimental)
  • changes in sensor configuration
  • fix alpha2 bluetooth bug
  • sync cyanogen source code (13/10/2016)

04/10/2016 alpha2 (MD5: a54cf4ec22ad1e9c05686082902267f9)

  • fix rild crash, now sim works well
  • fix save picture in camera app
  • kernel: few bugfix
  • sync cyanogen source code (04/10/2016)

29/09/2016 alpha1 (MD5: ec9664e015a2cb0276dd0eca48aa0529)

  • first public release

flash instruction:

first of all: backup all with twrp recovery

download rom and opengapps (select arm, android 7 and nano)

is not possible to upgrade from cm12.1 or cm13.0, in this case do a full wipe: in recovery select wipe->advance wipe and enable dalvik cache, system, data, cache

  • upgrade from previous (cm14.0) version

    • wipe cache and dalvik cache
  • new installation

    • full wipe (better do also format system)

flash rom
flash gapps
reboot (The first boot takes a bit 'of time)

Root access can be enabled in developers options

Hi Paolo flashed Bluetooth zip file.
Bluetooth works superb much better than
    In CM13.

Bug: Lock screen can’t be unlocked
    Then only hard reset helps..

    Thanks for your work

alpha 3 is great, except the mentioned problem of unlock screen. Thanks for the effort. Hope it will be ok in the next version.

    Hi Paolo

BUG reporting after using Alpha3 for 2 days:

    1. Lock Screen can not be unlocked if Notification comes in, but even with Lockscreen Notifications disabled, it happens sometimes that Lock screen

can not be unlocked, Display then does not react and unly Hardreset helps.

    2. Some Apps dont work (f.e. Root explorer), some Fotos can not be opened neither with galery nor with Quickpic, Stock File Explorer cant open SD.Card.

Besides Rom is fast and beautifull.

    Hi Paolo

    Great job.

After using Alpha3 for some days:

    1. proximity sensor seems not work.

    2. dual sim cards(LTE/EVDO/CDMA + GSM) were installed, they work fine , but at my office ,
one of the carrier(cdma) has no signal, I want to close it to save power,
     what should I do?
