Make a patched (with CWM)  boot.img and recovery.img with MTKDroidTools, replace them in the stock image (i used sp_flash_tool v5), flash them. Copy a SuperSu zip from chainfire to the phone, boot to CWM and flash the zip.

Or use VROOT and let it root your phone automatically.

I have another question. The internal partition for applications is only 1 GB which is totally insufficient. How can I increase it?

    Salut!
I installed the rom and I have problems with screen doogee. It is stable and shaking the image. I read that you have changed the driver, but I can not find where. I thank you very much if I explain how to do this update in more detail. Thanks in advance!

I've had this screen flickering problem as well after flashing the R14 firmware (that with Kit Kat). There'll be a new firmware available from Doogee soon, but tvladan has managed to get it earlier from them. Take this one:

Solved my problem and the phone is working again with everything normal on the display. Would love to know how one can change this display setting in the Flashtool though
