@jopac: This is a normal behavior :-) . It should occur evry time the program has no order what to do and a phone is physically connected. Therefore follow the instruction above. Select the MT6572_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in ROM, wait file to be added into Flash Tool, then select download (after setting the options according to the description above). Now connect your phone (no battery in phone), you'll hear ding-ding (phone connects), short time later (up to 5 seconds) the red beacon shows. Now wait for the green finish circle.

@SoCr@Te: Please can you check the file uploaded again? I had a hard time to flash because some parts don't unpack correctly.

@all: Finally after finding the "factory menu"(volume down and power button) I was able to restore all phone functions. Please is there someone out there who can translate this Chinese menu into English. I had a really hard time trying every entry there…

The link I posted earlier doesnt work anymore, cant find any other drivers for HTM A6, please could you post if you have them?  I tried the method before, already, didnt work, started but gave me an error:

    S_DA_NAND_FLASH_NOT_FOUND (3012)

Connected, shows red status bar, and immediately stops, and disconnects the phone, but stops reconnecting as usually, until replugged, luckily hasnt bricked my phone :)

Is it a driver issue or its something else? thank you very much for your help…

@jopac: My phone got the same baseband and the same build number.as yours.

    Baseband: MOLY.WR8.W1315.MD.WG.MP.V1.P7,  2013/09/10  17:18

    Bulid No.: A1.131111.JB3.V1.FWGA.4P32_COM_EN

The problem you got (error 3012) states that there is a mismatch between the scatter file you used and the phones memory. The driver works, otherwise there would be no specific failure code.

The ROM above seems to be a "downgrade"for you (and me). As long as your phone works, leave it like that :-) . But you can do something to prepare yourself for the future. Follow the instructions here and prepare a full backup of your ROM: http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vb.....p-1656510/

To root your phone use framaroot 1.81 (download from XDA-devs:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2130276 ), copy it to your device and install it. Use SuperSU and Boromir exploit, worked for me. You can test the root with Titanium backup or any other program which needs root.

If you want to do some work for the community please try to generate a CWM recovery using MTKdroid tools 2.5.2 ( http://dfiles.eu/files/s1wpt4ph2 ) and upload to here ;-) . Thanks in advance

Wow, this was really good answer, detailed too, thanks very much bro, i figured out too that it is a downgrade, so gave up until newer version comes out.

Tried once with framaroot from google play, didnt work, will try this one you mentioned, also will try generate cwm, if I could make it, I am not really an expert.  dont really know what it means, but i suppose those tools will tell me more, ill try when i get some time…sry for some bad english :) )

Also, if you have this phone, do you have issues with proximity sensor, screen wont turn on sometimes after call is over, and for Viber app it doesnt turn off at all. also typing is pretty slow and painstaking, touch sometimes isnt very responsive. seems all like a software issues, not hardware malfunction or bad quality, seems it just needs a bit work on the system itself, also could use some more themes, these really look a bit kiddy and/or girly  :))

battery is great,it seems could be even better with some tweaks for wifi, and/or 3G, they seem to draw some juice from it. the screen doesnt seem to take much power, almost none, comparing to samsung phones, whose AMOLED is simply destroying it  :))

Hi Jopac, had none of the problem you describe (so far…), probably because I modified a lot of things before really using the phone. My essentials: Root, then installed Xposed Framework (from xda-developers of from http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.robv.android.xposed.installer ), installed GravityBox and AndroidTuner. Now I can tweak my system. To reduce lag install Seeder from xda-developers (needs root). Regarding themes: I use "Taste"modified with a dark background…

To improve battery life I started to use "Green Power"from play store, seems to be a capable program. My biggest problem now: I'm running out of space…;-) .

I could post you my backup, I did it before trying anything, now sold the phone  :))

I still have the backup, with the latest known version of firmware, the one that came with the phone, dated as I posted before, it is newer than this one, so i guess you probably had the same version so you cant install this one because it is older version, or it just doesnt fit, dont know exactly…

If you want I will upload it somewhere, but i never did an upload of a file, so i need you to find me a free upload server, i dont really know which one to use…
