    Dears,

I got a Laude Pulse S800; with original ROM, I also flashed it. I have a Problem.
I have to access my company's Microsoft Exchange Email system.
That requires encyrption of my mobile device: this is the instructions to do that:

I did steps from 1 to 4. Then when I am trying to perform step 5: there is no such option in the Operating System Setting/Security as "Encrypt Phone". Neither under Storage option in the LAUDE PULSE S800.

    Instructions generally also available here:
    http://www.greenbot.com/article/2145380/why-and-how-to-encrypt-your-android-device.html

And in my KitKat, Laude Pulse Operating Sytems this option is not existing.
So what I am looking for is:
How can I encrypt my phone, why don't I have this option in the Settings/Security menu option?
    thanks for help

    1.

Open Afaria and initiate a connection OR install on your mobile device (this is a security requirement).

    • Open Afaria application
    • Tap Settings
    • Tap Connect
    • Afaria will run through a script. Watch for the successful session at MM/DD/YY message at the end. If you did not see this, you may need to reinstall Afaria.

    • Note: If you were directed to this page from the myITDashboard and your device is already encrypted, this connection step should correct your dashboard status in 24 hours.

      OR:

    • Install HP Afaria on Android Devices

    Back-up your data

    • It is strongly recommended that you back-up your device (and SD card if applicable) to your PC COE encrypted PC before encrypting your device or SD card.

    • For detailed instructions on how to backup your device to a PC, please refer to the device manufacturer’s manual.

    3.

Ensure your device is plugged-in to the charger before starting the encryption.

    4.

Ensure you have a lock screen PIN or password.

If you do not have a lock screen PIN or password, do the following before proceeding to encryption:

    • Go to Settings
    • Tap Security
    • Tap Screen Lock
    • Tap PIN or Password
    • Set up PIN or Password

    5.

Encrypt your device – I am stuck on this last point.

Note: You must have a lock screen PIN or password. If you do not return to Step 1.

    • Verify your OS version. If it is lower than 3.x you will need to upgrade the OS before the encryption option will appear.
    • Go to Settings
    • On some devices you will tap Security, on some you will tap Storage. If you do not see either of these options, refer to your device manual for the encryption procedure.
    • Tap Encrypt Phone (or tablet) under Encryption
    • Read the warning and tap Encrypt Phone (or tablet) to continue. A message will tell you to plug-in your device.
    • When prompted, enter your lock screen PIN or Password
    • Encryption will proceed – do not interrupt the process. If you interrupt the process, you could lose all your data. It might take an hour or so to complete.

with the original rom I remember having the option to encrypt, but some custom rom if you have that option, if you want searches XDA (English) or HTCMania (Spain), custom rom there you will find this model.
