As I have said, before flash new firmware you must have to check LCD driver version.
But now don't worry. I'm uploading it.

For those interested in rooting this version (kitkat 4.4.2) for the 6592/2G/16G phone, I did it using the next steps:

    1. Apply the vroot method from your pc http://www.mgyun.com/en/getvroot. It will not fully work as the installed supersu will not work. Installing a supersu afterwards from playstore won't work either, however your phone is "patched" to root.

    2. Get the 4.3.0 rom from the great needrom here: http://www.needrom.com/mobile/mpai-809t-mtk6592/

    3. Do not install the complete rom, ONLY the recovery.img and nothing else using the normal steps with flashtool.

    4. Get the supersu toolkit from here: http://download.chainfire.eu/370/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.80.zip

    5. Rename the file to update.zip and put it on your sd-card (the external).

    6. With the card in the phone restart into recovery (vol + and power hold). This will get you into cwm recovery.

    7. Go to the install zip from sdcard, and apply udate from sdcard, execute it and reboot your phone normally

    8. It will update your apps and after that your phone will be rooted. Check it with Rootchecker https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.joeykrim.rootcheck When you start this app supersu should popup to ask for root permission.

    9. Install busybox from playstore: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.busybox.installer

    10. You're done, now you can enjoy your rooted kitkat. :)

btw. I forgot to mention in step 3 : to flash the recovery image first you need to unpack the rom from this thread. Next you overwrite the recovery.img with one from the 4.3.0 rom, else flashtool won't work and comes up with a "you need to download pm first" (or something likewise) message. These are the included MP1 files from this rom.

      Hi Mirandam,

Step 3 – Please provide detailed steps on installing only recovery image using Flash Tool. Also, if you can suggest, how to find out the LCD version before flashing 4.4 ROM, it would be of gr8 help. I am using a MPai 809T Octa-Core one.

      Thanks,

      Joe

      2. Only RECOVERY Selected
      3. Connected Phone without battery
      4. Clicking on Download icon

      Nothing is happening

Am I doing correct thing? Please help.

Do you actually know what you're doing with flashtools?
Because that error is typical for a bad communication with your phone, either a bad cable, bad usb port or bad driver.
And from what I see, you've selected everything without providing the correct images, that is, cache and usrdata don't have images to flash and thus should not be selected at all (and in fact are useless to flash if you're trying to install another rom because you should clear both cache and data with a factory reset afterwards). If you know anything about flashing you also know you shouldn't flash the preloader unless your phone doesn't boot at all (that is: not even to recovery).
Flashing phones is only a good thing if you know what you're doing and know how to recover your phone.

      Hi,

I have downloaded and installed the correct version. Thanks.

Phone boots correct but the IMEI is lost.

There is no Imei in the Phone and a root is not possible. I have tried different tools for rooting but without succes. In the engineer mode I get a response "This command is not allowed in UserBuild".

At last I have try Vroot for Root access but without any success.

Can you support me please or have you any other idea to get a full root access???

      Thanks

What you need is learn how to use flashtool and how to make a decent backup before even trying to flash anything.
Your imei is in the nvram partition of your phone, before flashing any rom (even partially) you always need to make a complete backup of your rom, not with droidtool which will only work on a rooted phone, but with the readback function of flashtools. You should read and learn what the scatter file is for and how you can use it to make that valueable backup.
Nvram is never included in custom roms because it contains not only imei both also other phone-specific data such as your wifi mac address and bt address.
When I tried the 4.3.0 rom I had a complete valid backup, and guess what, that rom bricked my phone but because of the backup I had the phone working within 2 minutes, imei and all. Flashtools is the only tool (apart from some expensive hardware boxes) capable of flashing your non-rooted or even dead phone, but you can only restore your phone to its original state if you have made that backup.

You will have a hard time recovering from this if your nvram got screwed and you don't have a backup for it. Trying to enter the imei in engineering mode won't work. The only way is by having a valid copy of the exact same type of phone, changing the hexadecimal data in the files and flashing it. But this is only possible if you know precisely where to look for and what to do.

      Hi Mirandam,

      thanks for this info.

Can you send me a valid copy of the exact same type of the phone? I think after install this files I can change the IMEI to the correct factory defaults.

      Regards
