Phoenix Basic is an AOSP based Android 5.1 ROM. Base ROM is the Zopo 920 ROM, along with Carbon K3 Lite 2.5. Further enchancements are made to make it a bit lighter.

This has less features than Phoenix ROM. This is for those who want a good performing ROM without too much features.

Some changes since Carbon K3 Lite 2.5:
- Kernel from Vibe UI 3.0 1544 DEV
- Latest stagefright fixes (still waiting for the newest version from superdragonpt for the new exploit)
- Further trimmed down some components that aren't used.
- Some minor changes

Credits go to superdragonpt of xda forums for the Stagefright fix, Samy Design for the Marshmallow Icon pack. And to others I forgot, please let me know.

This ROM was ported by Miyer Bernabe. If this ROM worked for your Lenovo K3 Note and like it, you may want to send him something too for his porting efforts:

Other Credits go to:

Lowe Christian G. Beltran for the Phoenix ROM Logo

Less features as in no built in facility for taking screenshots. Swap between memories was removed. Also, network speed indicator gone as well. On the plus side, boot up time is faster. However, it felt less snappy, free ram remains at about 1.1 gb on average. I would install the regular Pheonix rom because of its additional bells and whistles.

I really do like this rom (well done!), but Ive a touch screen problem in only this one:

when I type for example I do seem to have some dead areas on the screen near some letters (such as "e" and "w"). Also when I drag a icon around the screen it sometimes hit a dead area (upper part of the screen) and I drop the icon. This is rom related because when I use the stock rom or Andrioum the problem isnt there.

With that said, keep up the work :)

what a rom is this? I am asking therfore, because it is (I was) unable to get in touch with (using) my
external sd-card. ‚Äč Is there a possibility to get the external sd-card included in the system (working) ?
