Original Rom for MPY41F from Yes Electronics
Dual Sim Android Smartphone with the Frozen Theme
This ROM is the complete EMMC except for the NVRAM and PROTECT partitions (these do not flash by default anyway and contain IMEI information)
How to install:
Make sure MTK drivers are properly installed
Open SP Flash Tools
Click Scatter Loading and navigate to where you unzipped the ROM
Select the Scatter File. You will then see a list of the parttions with a checkmark next to them
Turn off the phone and plug it into the computer.
It will show a red progress bar, followed by a purple progress bar, followed by a yellow progress bar. Let the progress bars finish.
When it shows a green circle or check mark, it is done.
You can unplug the phone and turn it on. It will take about 3-5 minutes on the first boot to start up.
Note for MPY41A (AVENGERS VERSION): This rom will probably work on the MPY41A but i have not tested. They are identical phones just with different themes. If you decide to try it, you do so at your own risk. In the event you do, i suggest:
1) make a complete backup of your current rom before flashing. just incase. (this can be done with NCK tools. select device by processor and select mt6572_emmc. Select dump firmware option and connect the phone)
2) from the backup, take the PRELOADER and LOGO files and overwrite the ones in the frozen rom you downloaded here (LOGO so it boots up with Avengers animation and not Frozen. PRELOADER is just to make sure you dont fry your phone)
3) when the phone boots the system itself will still be themed frozen. you will have to change the background image and perhaps some of the icons, or install nova launcher so it wont be an avengers/frozen ugly mess. it wont be perfect like the original avengers rom but at least you will have a useable phone
