ROM Mobile JIAYU G4C – ROM Android 4.2.2
Gapps include – No Rooted
Language support: Multilang
Install ROM :
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select the MT6582_Android_scatter.txt in ROM folder (unpack the rom folder first)
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- In options :
click USB Model
Choose Option->DA DownLoad All
Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

I have the same problem, I will try LeWa ROM.
The GPS singal is extremly weak with this rom.
The rom is very basic android and therefore you need to instal everything.
I have tried JIAYU G4C LeWa rom G4C-20140409-16 and the GPS works ok.

Yesterday i bought jy g4c with lewa os. But i dont like lewa so i was planing to install this. Could someone give precise steps how to do it.

I don't know if you need to root it before. The one i had was rooted (framaroot : very easy) before installation.
Just follow the steps described on the topic (no need to cmw)
I bought few days ago G4C with this rom, and whole system works perfectly… but… movies…
.
Movies from XBMC, YouTube are warping. I was so happy that all works fine
System never hangs, languages are fine (i use polish), games are fine, calls are fine. I didnt tested GPS.
But I will try LeWa ROM and I hope that videos works ok.
Unfortunately LeWa ROM have the same problem with videos… im going back to this ROM…
And i hope ther is and option to fix this video frame lags problem.
I found FREEdi YT Player application – it plays youtube fine, only YT in browser have problems.
Good player for other movies is VLC.
I tried Chrome browser and videos works FINE!
Android browser and Doplphin have problems with videos. It looks like video is not buffered and framerate goes crazy, and slower than voice.
Confirmed – GPS does NOT WORKING. I mounted phone in the car and was using about 1 hour – and no GPS signal at all. Only aGPS from operator.

Ok I finally get FIXED GPS
. I'm not sure what helped but I deleted gps file located in /data/misc/.
Now fixing takes less than 1 minute.
I did multiple test for gps and i found that A-GPS and EPO does not work at all. Only standard GPS works but first fix takes some time….
AGPs works in chinese LEWA ROM 16 – mt82_a8cl_g4hc_jyt_jb5_wcdma 04/09/2014 " jiayu_g4lcs_jb5 " and there GPS FIX in few seconds…
