i managed to port the recovery and boot as per the above mentioned. can you please guide me as how to boot in recovery as i am pressing Volume + and power button still the phone boots in normal mode but not in recovery mode
You must have the phone plugged in the USB.
a nice ROM, the system Rom only is 824 MB ? internal 4,22 GB, and the rest of the flash is called Ext. SD-Card with 10,2 GB, can this be switched ? the Bluetooth is not working, any tip thanks for answer, and sorry for my english.
All the procedure ran very smoothly with windows 8.1 64 bit. I would like to make some remarks . It is my first android phone (a long Iphone user) . After all this an application is installed in my phone the SuperSU. In the playstore i accidentaly update the application, the update were ok but i realised that i lost root.The solution for this matter were to cancel the last update of the app and then make the procedure from the start(phone in recovery mode – install zip from sd card ….. ) i would like to ask a question is there a way to update this application and to maintain root afterwards?
changed the ROM to gain root access after update
Works very well but I could not start my ZP998 with VOL-UP+Power on unless it was connected to the computer's USB port. only then I was able to enter recovery mode and install the ZIP file.
yes i made the whole process with the updated rom so i dont understand why i lost root after updating SuperSU
thats the reason i changed cause in this i keep on loosing root… the GzChina dosent loose the SU permission. I hope the OP will look into the issue and sort it out.
