Latest Firmware for CWM
Boot into CWM recovery and choose 'install zip from sdcard'. Navigate to the folder where you have downloaded the zp980+20140416-165623.zip file and install it.
FOR THOSE WHO ARE UNABLE TO INSTALL THE STOCK ROM – DO A RESTORE USING THE BACKUP FILE THAT I HAVE UPLOADED. UNZIP THE BACKUP FILE AND COPY IT TO CLOCKWORKMOD BACKUP FOLDER ON YOUR PHONE. BOOT INTO CWM RECOVERY AND DO A RESTORE.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

This official ROM is better than gacama's (at least I think so – cause i tried gacama's). You are right – boot into CWM recovery and choose 'install zip from sdcard'.
By "official" do you mean its a new ROM by Zopo? I don't see any updates on their web pages…
What is the Android version/Kernel etc?

I have the Gacama's rom and she's very stable.
And the reason why i like the Gacama's rom is because APN are automatically set for 3g and mms.
With all official roms, you must put APN manually…

Putting APN for 3G takes at the most 30 seconds.
I may be mistaken but I feel sure that the official ROM gives me better battery life than Gacama's. Gacama's does not give 14MP and then we have to download some other application for camera.
What about the GPS fix time?
And no bugs detected after few days?
Tried GPS today and was very fast. Detected my location within 2 secs outside the building. Until now no bugs.

Try googling for CWM 'install aborted' message. There are various reasons shown on the internet.
my apps sometimes crashes and facebook app always crash since last FB update with this ROM
Tried Facebook for 2 days and no crashes.
Surprising as I have not had even one – crashed app – experience with this ROM. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I do not use the FB app on the phone. However I will install it and use it to ck if it works good. I will comment on this later.
does anyone know if the official rom's update is necessary when using rom custom ?

You should not install this official ROM if you want to keep your custom ROM. Installing this ROM will remove your custom one.
