Installation:
- Unpack A850 Stock S123.zip
- Open SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1320.0.163
- run Flash_tool.exe
- select MT6582_Android_scatter in "rom dump" folder
- Choose Option -> USB Mode, click USB Mode
- Choose Option -> DA DownLoad All -> Speed -> High Speed -> click High Speed
- Check option "DA DL All With Check Sum"
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.
- Connect phone via USB
- Click Firmware -> Upgrade
- When a green circle appears, you can disconnect USB, reseat the battery and power up your device. It will take several minutes for it to boot up.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM
Only issue I have is the power off power on. The Power Off works fine the Power on does not. Then when I power it on manually it gives me a sysytem error occured but powers up fine other than that
Hi all.J m the new on the forum. I just got the Lenovo A850. The first thing it wanted to do is download the OTA Firmware update. It failed!
Has anyone had the update work successfully?
Where Does the update file get downloaded to?
Is there a way to force the update because an update available does not show up in "about device".
The only way I know for it to force the OTA again is by doing a factory reset then that is one of the first things it asks you to do.

are these rom are stable? coz im using s121 rom and the contact manager always anr. . everytime i want to save new contact. .

i like flashing this rom in my phone but i can not this work by flashtools . when the flashtools is searching usb it can not be done and i stay for 15 min but not continue the flashing proces . plz help me

hi my cell phone is lenovo a850 , i boughtt it from china supported by china unicom , and i tried to change the rom as the installed rom doesnot support gapps, but the flash tool doesnot work properly with me although my os is windows 7 and i followed the described way exactly but there was no progress, so please if you had a nother program helping to connect my pc with the phone , i would be greatfull.
