   Finally I tried this Rom.

   Even restoring  nvram (as you posted) WiFi and sim are not working properly for me. It is continually disconnecting.

   When i use the camera app and swap between the front facing or rear camera, the camera app crashes. Also, when using youtube, the video would start, then restart. The apps have been updated.

   @Fonty,please open your NVRAMBACKUP folder, do you have nvram.tar in it? it is 3.47MB in size.
   @hobbes2120,sorry you are experiencing this, I learnt thl 4000 have two builts(THL 4000-GC5004 and THL 4000-DVIR).
   This ROM is based on THL 4000-GC5004.
   So I think those on THL 4000-DVIR might get some bugs.
   For the YouTube application, sorry I didn’t stated this,please don’t update the YouTube application, Thank you for your feedbacks.

     Yes, I unziped NVRAMBACKUP.zip and the folder NVRAMBACKUP has the nvram.tar.

     I tried more than once and it doesnt work.

     The rom itself is pretty quick, and works for the most part. There are some hangups I'm running into with apps. If i use Hulu, i get audio and no video, if I use crunchyroll, the app itself works but the videos will not play. I also have time warner app on there and videos don't work there either. BUT I can use MXplayer and stream videos from online through that and it works fine although the video quality is not where it should be. Gets blocky sometimes.

     I think it works well for the most part but its either not working right on my phone or the app developers have not caught up considering it is a new OS. Either way, good job on getting SOMETHING working besides kitkat.

   Hey, i am new to Android and bricking a phone. I downloaded the needed files. i entered the alps recovery. But then when i try to apply an update from sdcard, to install philztouchrecovery, the i get the error: invalid ota package, missing scatter installation aborted. What i am doing wrong?

   No Klaus, please don’t flash PhilzTouch recovery with stock recovery, it will be aborted, instead, download the recovery application called RASHR and use it to flash the philztouch recovery img

   Hi, yes you are right. I installed RASHR and put the recovery.img from the philztouch zip down to the flash.
    I created a backup of the imei and wifi. i did a format of the storage and installed the image from zip file. afterthat a restored the imei and wifi. after all the phone is booting and everything is ok. thank you very much for your work. great job. Well, my reason to install a new image to the phone was to have a new partitioning of the os space, to have more space for apps. this wasnt the result a get by the new image. ok, dont understand me wrong, you all did a great job and you didnt know about my intention, of course. So my question: is there a way to do a new partitioning for the phone and image to have more space for apps?

   1. Status LED is not working

   2. flapping 598 MHZ Hotplug/1300MHZ Hotplug/1040 MHZ Hotplug message in statusbar

   Hi elefantex, you install ROM using the PhilzTouch recovery I uploaded above, download the PhilzTouch recovery, unzip it then flash the recoveryPhilz.img using RASHR application.
   Now,boot into recovery, make a clean wipe (wipe to install new ROM).
   Then flash the ROM.

   Hi Klaus, for partition, I will try my best but I can’t guarantee you on that.
   Flapping CPU usage can be disabled in the settings menu.

   Hi Fonty, were you able to restore nvram?
   if not,please make sure the NVRAMBACKUP folder is at the root of your SD card.
   Thank you.

   For LED notification, working for others and not working for others.
   I will upload minimal os tonight for our device and check on the led notification.
   I learnt our device has two built, GC5OO4 built and DVIR built in which this ROM is a GC5004 built.
