Poor grip of the mobile network. Mauvaise accroche du réseau mobile. No caster screen function. Pas de fonction caster l’écran.
i get an error that the preloader checksum fails when loading the scatter file with a few 5.x versions.
Do I need a specific SP flash version or is there a chekcsum issue?
i have the same problem, latest spflash and checksum fail
Try delete the "Checksum.ini" file in the ROM folder, then retry.
Hi Nicoking,
Would that mean to ignore a wrong checksum?
Do you think the ROM is tampered with?
I will try it as soon as I have time.
Grtz
I deleted the checksum and it works perfect. The checksum, provided *not* by me but by factory itself, was probably wrong. However, the ROM is still fine and I could flash parts of the ROM without problem or error message.
Cheers.
yeah it loads, but why would those values be wrong?
Where did you find it? It might be tampered with.
Were you able to make a custom recovery yet?
cheers
It is untouched ROM from factory. No modification whatsoever. If the checksum is wrong, then they made a mistake somewhere, but I did not modify their rom in any way.
Cheers.

Source how to root the phone but for my BV5000 it doesnt work! After short installation process the small robot laying down tells me "error". Tried on internal or external storage.
Can somebody of you try the same?
Thanks
SNP, THANK YOU VERY MUCH !
I can confirm your procedure works perfect !
1) Copy update.zip file to an EXTERNAL MICRO-SD (not the internal memory of the phone!)
2) Start phone, then enable USB Debugging, then go to the Security tab and authorize "Unknown Sources Installation".
3) Go to "About Phone", then "Wireless Update", then click at the top-right of the screen and select "Local Updates", then select "Update.zip".
4) Phone Reboots into factory recovery, and it is ROOTED!

Nicoking: and Exactly that Procedure did not work. Can you please check which Rom Version you used? I did the OTA update some days ago.
Thanks
I first flashed the ROM I provided on this page. Then I did the procedure I described. Works perfect. Titanium Backup and all other apps tell me I'm rooted.
