the long forgotten camera patch BRAVIA v4 and X-Reality Engine v4 which has significant improvement.
the mirrors were not available lately anymore and it was hard to find thus heres my post for reminder.
the first link is the old version
second link is updated 2017 version from xda.
as far as i remember it has always worked for me on the k3 note.

Nice job,man！Can it used to official ROMs which run Android 5.x and 6.x？
as far as i know and remember it works with most if not all roms. this patch for me never lead to a brick or a non functioning camera. at worst case the patch might not be working on some roms. so my answer is yes most probably it will work. it must be quite noticable when the patch is working.
its worth also checking out the official xda thread

as i said camera patch. for more info checkout the official thread link in the description on XDA. im just sharing what ive been using a lot in the past and has worked for me. and yes works on my 7.1.1 rom.
be sure to follow the description and download the latest rom it is the second link. the first link is most probably from another developer and not as developed as seems since its older. so to make things clear "BXRSVengine.arm.v4.0" is the latest version, the other is the old variant.
as for more in depth info the right place to ask the developer on xda.
