   Installing from CWM/TWRP should be fine if you have KitKat already, as long as you already have a KitKat-compatible CWM/TWRP.

   Italian forums report problems with synchronization of Google contacts, otherwise, it seems that everything else works. I would rather wait until contacts is working properly …

   First reboot after ROM upgrades can take up to 10 minutes, so you might need to just wait. Otherwise, if it is bricked, then you will need to take out your de-brick tools and restore your KK ROM.

   The problem with ROM releases where you have no installation instructions is that it is easy to not take all the required steps. Therefore, only the very brave would try such ROMs. In my opinion, going from a major Android release to another one (e.g., KK to LL) would require, at the very minimum, these steps:

   - Wipe Data
   - Wipe System
   - Wipe Cache
   - Wipe Dalvik Cache
   - Flash ROM
   - Flash Gapps (this seems to be a sensible precaution with Lollipop installs)
   - Flash UPDATE-SuperSU (also a sensible precuation)

   And then hope for the best.

   TWRP recovery is the easiest tool to use for this, because it allows you to select individually what you want to wipe, and to select up to 10 zips to install sequentially.

     I followed your advice and I did all the wipe and I set permessif, but the rom didn't want to work. Advice? (I use twrp recovery)

   İ install it with twrp but i couldnt restore my imei,i dont know how to backup efs files if we can there is no problem,but rom is slow i think,so i restore my kitkat backup,i advice u install both twrp and cwm,because if u backup your rom with cwm,twrp dont see it

    UPDATE: 2nd try I got it work! I can sync contacts too!

    Before: 

    Rom: Komu 1.03 Stock KitKat

    Recovery: TWRP_ZP998_2.8.4.0_rublix

    What i did?

    1. Go into recovery

    2. Wipe Data, System, Cache, Davlik cache

    3. Flash CM12.1 rom

    4. Reboot -> Wait a few min while boot (U should see CM logo)

    5. Select Language, connect to wifi etc.

    6. Go to developer options / enable Root access

    7. install SELinuxModeChanger-v3.2-release.apk

    8. start SELinuxModeChanger (allow root access) then Select Selinux mode: PERMISSIVE

    9. Go back to recovery and flash gapps (https://github.com/cgapps/vend.....19.zip?raw=true)

    10 Reboot and done

    If you loose imei and dont have phone access: use MTK Droid Tools – > click IMEI/NVRAM -> Write your imei to both input (you can check it under your battery) and restart your phone

    If anything goes wrong just go back to stock Rom: Komu 1.03 Stock KitKat anytime with MTK Flash tools.
