I had to wipe everything except the sdcard, before it would install, but that was the only minor problem. Just replacing my apps now. I had previously used a standard root with SuperSU and Xposed, but my camera started playing up for a while, and then my front camera stopped working. Now it's working. I'll let you know if anything else is amiss.

10 days in, and I have to say that this is like a new phone. Barclaycard app successfully running despite phone being rooted. Both cameras working, no problems with notifications. I'm missing a few Power Button tweaks from Xposed but the general performance improvements are compensation!

The update worked exactly as advised. The only thing is that it took a while to reboot, and I was concerned it might be stuck in a loop, but I gave it plenty of time and it got there. Great work!

the system UI is in English but the 'Android System' messages are in German.  How do I change those?

After a reboot language is now all English but I have no mobile network.  'Emergency Calls only'.  I've checked the APN and created a new one for three.co.uk but it still doesnt work.

So Ive got to the bottom of my problem.  The IMEI numbers of my handset have been changed to random ones.  I am trying various ways to try and reset the IMEI numbers back to the labels printed inside the back of the phone.  I've tried 'IMEI Maker' and 'IMEI Repair' without any luck.  Also the Android 'EngineerMode' does not display 'CDS Information' so I am unable to choose 'Radio Information' to change it.

    Hi, csjjpm.

Maybe you can try to flash the offical ROM V14. Then go for TWRP 3.1.2 and CrDroid again.

Do you have the problem with other Roms too?

yes I tried all that.  When using SP Flash I 'STUPIDLY' formatted the phone and cleared the NVRAM and IMEI.  Yes I know I am an idiot.  I was encountering an error when first trying to install TWRP so I was trying all sorts.  Bad idea.

I've tried terminal, chamelphon and various other IMEI tools and have been unable to restore my IMEI.

Maybe go for V14 on your Phone. Try to use the offical, without TWRP to see if it works.

Never happend before like this. Im sorry :s

Another information for you: maybe try the EngineerMode APK to set you IMEI again. EngineerMode should work with Offical V14 and also CrDroid.
