DESCRIPTION
From TF Android Developers, we bring you the first Custom Kernel for Jiayu G4S MT6592.
In this case, this Kernel is useful for those who have installed ROM KitKat v3 or newer. After this installation, the touch screen in any previous ROM versions will not work properly, as the afore-mentioned touch screen will be completely decalibrated.
With this Kernel, you will be able to use ROM Jelly Bean v4.2.2 without a problem.
The installation order so as for the ROM to work properly is as follows:
First, install the ROM v4.2.2 you want, then the Kernel.
Apart from this, the Kernel includes the following:
Version: 0.51:
- Solved bootloop problems
- Compiled with Linaro 4.6
- Compatibility with MIUI, LEWA and STOCK.
- Init.d support, by run-parts busybox (include ro.init.d=1 in build.prop to make it work)
- Performance Control app included in the zip file (automatic installation in /data)
- CPU Governors (intellidemand, sakuractive, nightmare, interactivex, zzmove, lulzactiveq, pegasusq, smartassV2, conservative, hotplug, ondemand, userspace, powersave, lulzactiveq, performance)
- lulzactiveq by default.
- IO Shedulers (noop, deadline, cfq, fifo, row, fiops, zen, vr).
- cfq by default.
- VM_MAX_READAHEAD set to 2048kb

I did asked above that can I install this kernel on Chilapos v1.1? and you replied YES. So I though I can flash this… anyways.. my mistake…thanks mate

I installed my stock 4.2.2. At first time,is every ok, but after the next restart: boot loop!
noobsaibot, i tested the kernel and is working every restart right….maybe not kernel related?

hi, can i use it if i have now latest 4.4. 1826499? re-flash 4.2.2. and then kernel? can i do it if i have problem with screen on 4.2.2.?
after install on stock 4.2.2 screen recalibration works great but when my g4s is offline no starting…is a bootloop
and i must flased again and instal this kernel to the next situation when my g4s is off
