STEP 1 : BACKUP
BEFORE MAKE ANYTHING — IMPORTANT– BACKUP YOUR IMEI NUMBER WITH MOBILEUNCLETOOLS
Before installing the Rom you need to make a backup of your device in case something goes wrong. Do it with MTKDroidTools flashabile with FlashTool.
Those who have already installed the recovery TWRP they can make a second directly from recovery.
For the first, here is a guide to the procedure of backup, for the latest version of MTKDroidTools and drivers necessary for the proper use of the application Backup with MtkDroidTool
STEP 2 : RE-PARTITION OF THE MEMORY BEFORE INSTALLING AOSP ROM
Device rooted with Framaroot 1.93 or another program …
- Download Partition.rar and Install with SP-flashtool attached in rar, the Rom included (DG55_STOCK_7gb Partition_TWRP Recovery)
- Reboot. Everything should be ok
- This ROM already has TWRPRecoveryTouch that later we'll need to install the AOSP ROM V2.0.
INSTALL AOSP ROM
Download the custom ROM FILE.ZIP and copy to an external SD card root directory
ENTER TWRP RECOVERY :
Power off the phone, then do the following:
– Power button + volume button up, to enter the recovery mode.
IN TWRP perform a full WIPE –> WIPE–> ADVANCED WIPE–> SELECT
– Dalvik Cache
– Cache
– Data
Return to recovery main interface and Install zip from sdcard:
- Select your ROM FILE.ZIP –> It will launch my installation procedure
- At the end Reboot System – Patience required – first boot takes a while
AFTER FIRST BOOT, RESTORE YOUR IMEI NUMBER WITH MOBILEUNCLETOOLS
All done, Enjoy your new AOSP ROM!!

after i installed the rom everything is ok….but my sim card is not recognized…i have signal but cant make phonecall..i also try other cards like my dads and still not working on my new rom dg550.can ayone help me to fix it cause i cant call or receive no calls…please help
Have you saved your Imei wih MobileUncletools and after install restored it?
i have the same problem and i have my backup of the imei

Hello, I flashed this ROM last week and I must say that it's a very, very good ROM! All credits, kudo's and much more to the developer of this one!!! ROM is much more stabile and setting more audiosounds for messaging, phone, alarm etc. is just what I needed. The only thing is that the camera is reversed… I hope that there will be a fix for this. Can anyone tell me if this problem also exists on the KitKat ROM? Perhaps the wrong place to ask the following question but I just want to now: Which ROM is better: this one or the KitKat?
I tried all roms for this phone, and not because I’m the dev, but for me this is the better rom for doogee dagger dg550. The problem of the camera remains on phones produced after 13 June. We must find other camera libs that fix the problem… Asap I’ll try to find new ones
Thanks a lot baldos81! I just flashed the KitKat ROM and my first impression is that I have to agree with you: Besides the camera, your 4.2.2 is much better! So I think I get back to it… and hope that you'll find a solution for the camera!

Ok Vindipi… Possiamo tentare. Potresti upparmi da qualche parte, tipo su Google Drive o su mega.co.nz anche la cartella lib (sotto system) della rom di fabbrica che ti è uscita col tuo telefono, quella con data 25.07. Così facciamo 2 tentativi. E tu dovrai testare se funziona

Baldos81 ti avrei tranquillamente inviato la cartella lib ( sotto system ) sé avessi il backup…… purtroppo ho fatto il backup ma per qualche motivo l’ho perso.
Comunque appena è disponibile la tua nuova ROM con il lib della fotocamera della ROM KitKat mandami il link che la testo.
