STEP 1 : BACKUP
BEFORE MAKE ANYTHING — IMPORTANT– BACKUP YOUR IMEI NUMBER WITH MOBILEUNCLETOOLS
Before installing the Rom you need to make a backup of your device in case something goes wrong. Do it with MTKDroidTools flashabile with FlashTool.
Those who have already installed the recovery TWRP they can make a second directly from recovery.
For the first, here is a guide to the procedure of backup, for the latest version of MTKDroidTools and drivers necessary for the proper use of the application Backup with MtkDroidTool
STEP 2 : RE-PARTITION OF THE MEMORY BEFORE INSTALLING AOSP ROM
Device rooted with Framaroot 1.93 or another program …
- Download Partition.rar and Install with SP-flashtool attached in rar, the Rom included (DG55_STOCK_7gb Partition_TWRP Recovery)
- Reboot. Everything should be ok
- This ROM already has TWRPRecoveryTouch that later we'll need to install the AOSP ROM V2.0.
INSTALL AOSP ROM
Download the custom ROM FILE.ZIP and copy to an external SD card root directory
ENTER TWRP RECOVERY :
Power off the phone, then do the following:
– Power button + volume button up, to enter the recovery mode.
IN TWRP perform a full WIPE –> WIPE–> ADVANCED WIPE–> SELECT
– Dalvik Cache
– Cache
– Data
Return to recovery main interface and Install zip from sdcard:
- Select your ROM FILE.ZIP –> It will launch my installation procedure
- At the end Reboot System – Patience required – first boot takes a while
AFTER FIRST BOOT, RESTORE YOUR IMEI NUMBER WITH MOBILEUNCLETOOLS
All done, Enjoy your new AOSP ROM!!

So ATTENTION! … You did not do a Nandroid backup? … You are not able to restore the device? … Well, do not write to me, because I will not answer to you!!

This rom is the result of multiple test, and was implemented with apps and fix that the first rom on this site don’t have, as the different camera libraries, gps fix, keyboard errors, battery charging animations and so on, and now it has no bugs. If you don’t like it, flash another one… I made it without asking 1 $, only for the spirit of sharing and use this good phone with a good firmware. So please don’t spend your time to write ship on the forum.

Hi baldos81 I would really appreciate if you could help me out. I love your ROM I installed it the day I got my phone and it worked so well I didn't try anything else. Everything is working perfect except for when I finally got my Sim card with Fido in Canada same as rogers network the phone has trouble finding signal and when it does I o my get 2g but the singnal is lost in about 20 seconds. Then it takes several minutes to find signal again. Also it does not show up as a Fido Sim it just shows some numbers. Now I am forced to use the stock firmware because my Sim works perfectly as it should on stock. And yes I wiped everything then installed your ROM then after first boot I restored imei with mobile uncle and rebooted. I have tried many times now and the issue with my Sim card is always there sometimes it won't even find a signal at all. I really want to enjoy the benefits of your Rom but I need some help figuring this out. I have already played with all the settings I can think of. Any help is greatly appreciated thank you. And thank u baldos81 for your amazing work.

Assmunche, your sim works with stock 4.2.9 or stock 4.4.2?
i have the same problem and when install any of the oficial roms my sim card work fine
It works fine with 4.2.9. I haven't tried 4.4 yet. Im really hoping I can use your ROM because it has everything I need. Thanks.
These must be baseband problems… Asap I’ve free time We can try to change the baseband with a patch. I’ll pm it to you, then you’ll try it and let me know if ok.

Even if in Europe no problems with GSM and Walmart signals… It must be related also to your phone company
TELCEL uses the TDMA 850 / GSM 1900 / UMTS 850 frequency bands for its network.

Very nice rom fast stable, 2/3G wifi,gps works fine, one problem i have is the battery use.
After 20 houres the battery is under the 10% in normal use, where before my zte v967s did 2 days for same work. I use greenpower.
