STEP 1 : BACKUP
BEFORE MAKE ANYTHING — IMPORTANT– BACKUP YOUR IMEI NUMBER WITH MOBILEUNCLETOOLS
Before installing the Rom you need to make a backup of your device in case something goes wrong. Do it with MTKDroidTools flashabile with FlashTool.
Those who have already installed the recovery TWRP they can make a second directly from recovery.
For the first, here is a guide to the procedure of backup, for the latest version of MTKDroidTools and drivers necessary for the proper use of the application Backup with MtkDroidTool
STEP 2 : RE-PARTITION OF THE MEMORY BEFORE INSTALLING AOSP ROM
Device rooted with Framaroot 1.93 or another program …
- Download Partition.rar and Install with SP-flashtool attached in rar, the Rom included (DG55_STOCK_7gb Partition_TWRP Recovery)
- Reboot. Everything should be ok
- This ROM already has TWRPRecoveryTouch that later we'll need to install the AOSP ROM V2.0.
INSTALL AOSP ROM
Download the custom ROM FILE.ZIP and copy to an external SD card root directory
ENTER TWRP RECOVERY :
Power off the phone, then do the following:
– Power button + volume button up, to enter the recovery mode.
IN TWRP perform a full WIPE –> WIPE–> ADVANCED WIPE–> SELECT
– Dalvik Cache
– Cache
– Data
Return to recovery main interface and Install zip from sdcard:
- Select your ROM FILE.ZIP –> It will launch my installation procedure
- At the end Reboot System – Patience required – first boot takes a while
AFTER FIRST BOOT, RESTORE YOUR IMEI NUMBER WITH MOBILEUNCLETOOLS
All done, Enjoy your new AOSP ROM!!

Baldos81 the baseband in your ROM is different baseband then 4.2.9?
Hi baldos81 my bands look exactly the same. My carrier uses 850 for 3g. Everything works perfect with 4.2.9. But the signal comes and goes quickly or some times get no signal at all. And when I do get signal with you rom its only 2g (edge). Signal lasts for about 20 seconds then no signal again. Also when I put my Sim in 4.2.9 it says Fido. On your rom just shows some numbers. I hope I can help you to help me lol thanks.
i manage to get network by: settings, mobile network settings – network operators and choose automatically i have to click when my cellphone get the network signal and he say its registered on network and it works fine, but still show my sim name as numbers and the 3G dont work at all or get really slow
I'm afaraid I have to report battery issues as well. I was out for the weekend and the battery dropped from 50% to 10% within 4 hours with no active usage of the phone…
Maddock You must control with cpuspy the effective usage of processors. I, Never a problem with battery for about a month.

I have the same problem with the battery usage, 1 day is the maximum without charging. Normal use
I have a tools installed greenpower that control the wifi, data and bluetooth connection, when the screen is off.
Or is a battery wipe a solution? Or is the cm11 a beter version?

in this tutorial says that we have to make a backup or our IMEI and at the end restore it, but, my question is, this is to prevent if something is wrong, or it’s necesary because this rom delete the IMEI code?

Necessary! The rom delete imei, but it’s very easy to restore it with Mobileuncletools, just 2 seconds
