DESCRIPTION
This rom works on the following devices:
Homtom HT16 w/ CPU MT6580 only!
Changelog:
- Minor improvements.
Gapps: No
Rooted: Yes
How to Install:
- Download dotOS Rom
- Put on the root of the phone or sdcard
- Reboot into Custom Recovery
- Do a backup of your present rom (optional)
- Wipe Cache/Data/System
- Install dotOS ROM
- Don't Wipe Dalvik Cache If you've installed gapps with this rom!
- Reboot (It may take a while longer than usual. Up to 5 minutes on first boot). Please be patient, at the end you will have a fully working dotOS Nougat ROM.
(It will be in Russian by default but if you manage to find the settings button and then click on the "A"/Globe button which stands for "languages", in the first line you can easily change into your own language).
Google Apps are pico version, which comprises only of Google Play Store and Google Services.
Warning!
There might be some remnant Russian language at some icons on notifications menu since this ROM was ported by a Russian citizen. Just click on them and they will change to your designated language.

what about third party camera apps, do they work ok? these 6580 like doogee x5 and ht16 had that problem before.
Is this rom ok with that?
How to disable cell broadcast messages?
I install it, and ROM is great. Far better than AICP that didnt work well. I noticed problem with cell broadcast messages, even when I turn them all off, but I resolved that problem with greenify. Just put cell broadcasts (system app) in greenify, and from time to time hibernate (greenify) apps (including this).
I noticed much slower charging than before on android 6.0, but its generaly android 7.1 issue. I am in no hurry so I'll take that as ok.
I noticed that equilizer (system app) crashes when I put music throught default music player (system app also).
Serbian language is partly there, most of system is in english, but serbain cyrilic and latin keyboards are ok.
I dont know how to remove Google search bar from home screen despite advices from internet so it will remain till I find a way

I want to add, what I noticed after 4 months using it:
A little slower screen unlock (turning screen on), rarly screen slightly flickers when graphics changes (not in all apps, noticed in some weather app when updating weather data and graphics). Maybe sometimes gets lag, but its ok. Battery lasts perfect.
And yes, you are right about GPS, its a little bugy, but someone mentioned bad WiFi, but in my case it works great.
Sometimes I need faster responses and I think it was bit better on android 6, but this ROM is great in customizing and functions, so I will not change it a while.
