DESCRIPTION

Here I present you my C1 Modded ota ROM for Inew V3.

It is for the internal /data/media type phones. (with only MBR and EBR1). System is part5 data is part7.

Port 100% from UMI C1 (+some additions)

Installation

—————

You must first install official KK 1.13 (to make the partitions correct)

If you don't have it I can build a small Flash tool update. —–>Request!

Backup your NVRAM and Sec.ro partitions. (better be safe than sorry!) It can be fixed anyway so don't worry.
Transfer my zip rom to your SD. Insert SD in phone.

First flash my recovery with your favorite program (Mobile uncle or via Flash tool)

Reboot phone , enter recovery.

Press Wipe (Default one wipe data , davlik , cache – BACKUP impotant data , all will be lost) .Return to main menu after finished.

Go to install. Choose storage microSD at the middle-bottom

Select correct zip file from microSD

When finished , return to main menu and POWER off phone

Remove microSD and Start phone. (If you leave it in all applications will install files to that instead of internal – up to you!) You can always choose internal after , I just prefer it this way.

Done!

Rom has native init.d Support , Superuser and partial Busybox (Install busybox from play store and update)

Multilanguage , GREEK support extra! (Sorry for the bootsound )

(I can also provide a complete GPS fix step by step soon , most files are in already)

ADDED 900mhz baseband fix. Boot in recovery and flash baseband900.zip

  For the GPS , open Enginear mode via dialing *2366*# or *#*#3646633#*#*
  scroll right to find location and touch location based service , go to GPS Ref position.
  Now you see two numbers Lat and long…. Open google maps in your PC , find your position ex ….

  and enter those two numbers above in the place of 0 and press ok.
  You can hard set this in file
  /data/data/com.mediatek.lbs.em/shared_prefs/agps_profile.xml with ES-explorer (edit file)
  By default it has Geolng 0 which positions you somewhere in CHINA!

  If the file don;t exist go to locations engineer mode , AGPS , and press save profile first!
  Permitions should be user same as folder containing file , and rights ex -rw-rw—- u0_a39 u0_a39.
  Now press FULL and gps on , go out in open and wait till it locks ….. after it locks it can crate logs (press button to save logs) and you don't need to repeat this ever again!

Major problem appeared. Suddenly I lost the IMEI. Both sims show invalid. Restored my previous IMEI.bak but now it says that there are no sim cards !!!
Tried to write IMEI manualy from engeneer mode with AT commands, nothing again.
Any suggestions?
As it is, reflashing the official ROM 1.0.13 everything is ok?
Do you think of something that might cause this?
And gps method did not work… Check it with official ROM too but nothing changed.

  Το gps μου έχει δουλέψει καλά μόνο σε 4.2. Σε 4.4 δεν έχει παίξει ποτέ, ούτε με τον τρόπο που ποστάρησες…
  Όταν λες επαφές, να το ανοίξω να δω αν παίζει κάτι; Πάντως σου λέω, σε 4.2 παίζει το gps. Σαφώς όμως το gps δεν είναι
  πολύ καλό σε σχέση με άλλα τηλέφωνα…

Well. From this recovery I flashed this one https://www.needrom.com/downlo.....xperia-edition/
and guess what. Gps works again. For me the case is (for a reason that is beyond my knowledge) that my phone's gps works (for the moment) only in 4.2.2. In 4.4 I had no luck no matter what I tried. We'll see… Who know?

I used this rom about 1 day. Here is some my review.
Pros:
+ Great ROM, great UI, I didn't found any lag
+ GPS extremely Accurate. Locked only a few second. SUPERB!
+ Compass also work correctly.
+ Faster data connection respond. Other ROM, need a few second to reconnect from 3G to H+. And this ROM just need a sec. SUPERB!
+ Display brightness can be lower from another ROM. (I need it)
+ Volume work correctly. Not too loud, and not too weak. I like it.
Cons:
- Few Free RAM, some chat app must opened to receive new message.
- My V3 always overheating when i play game that using internet connection.
- Sometimes Maps app force close.
- Some app always force close. I can't use MXPlayer and MusicXmatch.
- Won't charge using 1A charger output. I using 1,5-2A charger output. It happen in my device when using Kitkat ROM. I dont know why.
- Sometime it dont charge battery correctly. 15% to 100% only in 15minutes. And then it goes 15% again about 30minutes. It ever happen in all ROM that i tried.
- Signal weaker than Jelly Bean based ROM.
- App read my device as Umi C1. Some detect using MTK6592M (Octacore 1,4Ghz). It doesn't matter.
Have Not Tried:
> Wifi signal, stronger or weaker
> Bluetooth signal
> Game that using heavy graphic
> Battery. I just tried this ROM one day. I can't say it drain faster or not.
That is my some review. I think i will try your other ROM.
Thanks Batsilos. Hope you can fix this ROM, or make another better porting.

  All the problems you describe point to the fact that your nvram need upgrading too! You have the old pre 1.04 4.2.2 version phone…..
  Inew had posted an upgrade with 1.08 rom. And again with Kitkat. You can't use old nvram data with Kitkat.
  Ram use is more than normal V3 kitkat because of the UI …
