Features ROM:
Note that there are two different examples of G3:
1) G3
2) G3N
1) has a chipset MT6620
2) has a chipset MT6628
how to recognize: all devices with build (in product info): 20130223-071508 G3N and later fitted with a chip MT6628, the oldier mount MT6620 chipset
the roms for the G3 are not compatible with the G3N and vice versa
differences:
flashate if a wrong rom (for example a rom on G3N G3) not work properly: WIFI, BT, FM radio and GPS, so if you do not work none of this hardware, you probably have the wrong rom, download the one for the other device and riflashate .

IN MY ROMS JB 4.1.2 The Tethers ARE PERFECTLY WORKING!
settings added:
in developer options: factory mode and engineermode launcer;
in management sim, dualsim Ringer settings
fixato dualsim ringer and added some scripts to:
optimize and speed up your system: Zipalign, optimization and system ram, and supercharger
(If you do a restore after the installation you lose a part of the supercharger script …..)

updated boot logo, changing image!
applications that are put in settings are invisible in "programs"
optimized still the build.prop, and, of course the old changes:
reduction to 10 ms vibrio button operation
SMS long (No more self-transformation in mms sopo 3 concatenated SMS!)
extended PowerMenu (adding the "recovery" to reboot in recovery mode)
disbilitato the red LED to charge less than 15%
stretched to 5 seconds the flashing LED notifications (blue and green!)
dialer buttons marked.
ATTENTION ALL ROMS MAKE A FULL WIPE! (Before flashing make a full backup of your system and data)
you can 'perform two types of installations for the roms
a) clean istall: installed the rom from recovery modded!
b) istall with recovery: from clockwork mod, make a backup (only data and cache), installed the rom, you restore and reboot, you will have all vistri data and programs but on a brand new rom!
PS: If you come from a ICS 4.0.4, nn do a restore after you have installed the 4.1.2 JB, or the phone to reboot will go in boot-loop (nn will start and you will have to reflash the rom!)

Install ROM:
Only add to the procedure used with Recovery LEWA:
1) Backup essential, always.
2) Factory reset
3) Wipe Dalvik cache and cache
4) Install zip (Rom)
5) Wipe cache and Dalvik cache
6) Reboot
So start the first time, quickly and completely clean.
With Titanium restore all your applications.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM
Are you in or not working properly proximity sensor?
After each reset, I have to calibrate.
maybe is your own hardware problem, never had any kind of problem by this sensor, btw, no other ROM updates for G3 from me, just ordered an HERO H7500+…..

I must calibrate proximity after each reboot too, i mean, that it isn´t hardware problem, it must be some bug.
Strange because I have G3N phone with G3_30.04.2013 ROM + G3 TO G3N Transformer Pack installed and no problems with proximity sensor. Works well, no need to calibrate. Rebooted few times now and maked some test calls for checking – everything all right.
I had the same problem that after some time proximity sernsor didn't work properly (after 2 weeks of use this rom it was getting worse and worse), today I just cleared dalvik cache and suddenly it works well…
Can somebody describe problem little more. Its about psensor calibration in mtktools?
I have problem when I call someone the screen turn off. And there is no posibility to enable it till finish of the connection. Its very bad if you call voice mail or wrong number.
I try to wipe dalvik cache. I have wakeup patch.
I have G3N with G3 rom(30.04)+ transformer pack
On the other roms sensor is working properly (lolfisch)
Tested on many phones Jiayu 3GN
uhmmm…. I cannot test on G3N, and on my G3, sensor works well…. if you have troubbles, use other roms…..

I got the 10-04-2013 version running on my phone. If I update to 30-04-2013 version I think it is best to do:
backup / wipe / factory reset / install / transformer pack / wipe / factory reset / restore
My question is what application are you all using doing the backup and restore? Would that be backup and restore in CWM? Or backup and restore in Titanium? If Titanium (don't know it yet) are there any settings to look out for?
Would love to upgrade to the newer version of the ROM, but do not like to completely do all settings and installations of all apps all over again.

Which settings are saved proximity sensor?

Today I checked on Jiayu G3 and this problem also exists.
no, on my G3, just tested and works well, kyy finger give 1.0 cm or 0 0 cm, depending on moveing it in front of that sensor….. try to flash fresh rom, without a restore and retry….. for me, sensor works with my 30 04 rom release.
Hi ervius! Nice ROM! I see that you have disabled the red led when battery is low due to that known bug. Does the phone alert somehow that battery is low now? If not, do you have any suggestion to add it?
In my place we use to say:
"you cannot have wife dronken and bottle (of wine!) full"!!!
you canot have both…. (no deep_sleep bug and working red led!!!)

Many thanks for this ROM and the wakeup-sound-touch fix. I have nothing to say except that everything is working fine ! Only the dial pad screen look is a bit cheap-like; I prefer the jelly bean original one. Could you please tell me how to do it ?

1) The shows you how to install a ROM on "Install ROM", everything worked ok on mine, but installing "g3_to_g3n_transformer.zip", "NO_LOWbattery_led_less_G3N.zip", "vol +-wakeup_4_1_2.zip"?
2) I installed LEWA 2.0, which by the way is in Chinese and I do not know to change the language to english!
3) How do I change LEWA 2.0 for CWM?

to change recovery, try by mobileuncle on market.
