Features ROM:
Note that there are two different examples of G3:
1) G3
2) G3N
1) has a chipset MT6620
2) has a chipset MT6628
how to recognize: all devices with build (in product info): 20130223-071508 G3N and later fitted with a chip MT6628, the oldier mount MT6620 chipset
the roms for the G3 are not compatible with the G3N and vice versa
differences:
flashate if a wrong rom (for example a rom on G3N G3) not work properly: WIFI, BT, FM radio and GPS, so if you do not work none of this hardware, you probably have the wrong rom, download the one for the other device and riflashate .

IN MY ROMS JB 4.1.2 The Tethers ARE PERFECTLY WORKING!
settings added:
in developer options: factory mode and engineermode launcer;
in management sim, dualsim Ringer settings
fixato dualsim ringer and added some scripts to:
optimize and speed up your system: Zipalign, optimization and system ram, and supercharger
(If you do a restore after the installation you lose a part of the supercharger script …..)
more … in: -> tethering / portable hotspot: Ervius tether natter settings
updated boot logo, changing image!
applications that are put in settings are invisible in "programs"
optimized still the build.prop, and, of course the old changes:
reduction to 10 ms vibrio button operation
SMS long (No more self-transformation in mms sopo 3 concatenated SMS!)
extended PowerMenu (adding the "recovery" to reboot in recovery mode)
disbilitato the red LED to charge less than 15%
stretched to 5 seconds the flashing LED notifications (blue and green!)
dialer buttons marked.
ATTENTION ALL ROMS MAKE A FULL WIPE! (Before flashing make a full backup of your system and data)
you can 'perform two types of installations for the roms
a) clean istall: installed the rom from recovery modded!
b) istall with recovery: from clockwork mod, make a backup (only data and cache), installed the rom, you restore and reboot, you will have all vistri data and programs but on a brand new rom!
PS: If you come from a ICS 4.0.4, nn do a restore after you have installed the 4.1.2 JB, or the phone to reboot will go in boot-loop (nn will start and you will have to reflash the rom!)
Language support: AR/BN/DE/EN/ES/FA/FR/HI/IN/IT/MS/NL/PT/RU/TH/TR/UR/VI/CN
Install ROM:
Only add to the procedure used with Recovery LEWA:
1) Backup essential, always.
2) Factory reset
3) Wipe Dalvik cache and cache
4) Install zip (Rom)
5) Wipe cache and Dalvik cache
6) Reboot
So start the first time, quickly and completely clean.
With Titanium restore all your applications.

I have installed your rom Ervius for a couple of days nowand it is magnificent good !!!
Best rom ever installed !! Battery life increased, pure and clean, best rom ever for the G3 !!!
Gps fix from http://forum.xda-developers.co.....d.php?t=1817558 works extremely good on this rom, keep sat positions fixed so in less then a few seconds or minutes i got a fix now !!! I am real glad you made this effort and wanted to share it with us !!! 10 stars this rom. Many thanks for making the Jiayu G3 as perfect as it could be. Very statisfied with this rom, i don't think i will ever switch to another rom anymore or you should create a much better on. Thank you !!!
Hi, this ROM is very good, only what I did not like was battery icon, but I changed it
But what is worse, that with stock (a little bit modified) ROM 4.0.4 I had benchmark score in AnTuTu 5781 points, but with this stock I had only 4783 and the battery goes down more quicker then with my ROM :-/
Anybody else with the same problem with performance?

Sorry, I am new on this and I need some help.
I've got:
* Jiayu G3 with chipset MT6620
* JB4.1.2 official Beta (from Jiayu)
* CWM-based Recovery v6.0.2.8 (compiled by Bruno Martins)
I would like to install your ROM JIAYU G3 4.1.2 – 04/30/13. I've copied the .zip file into my SDcard into the main directory. Then I've tried the option 'install ZIP from sdcard' with CWM but it failed. Should I try the option 'backup and restore' -> 'restore' instead? However, it is not in the list. Should I create a folder under '/sdcard/clockworkmod/backup/' to copy the .zip file there? I guess I am trying to follow your description b) but I am missing the steps on "installed the rom"

i suspect that ur downloaded package is currupt. Try downloading the same packege once more and check.
I dont think Ervius visits here any more. He got a different phone now…
When installing the Build 04/30/13 on my "normal" G3 I always get the error message "Failed". Do I have to use Lewa Recovery? Actually I'm using TWRP 2.4.4.0!

You know what? You were absolutly right. I checked the ROM file size in my laptop and I had only 85MB instead of the 169MB I was supposed to. I downloaded the file again and installed it without any problem. Thanks for the tip, I really appreciated.
After testing Ervious ROM last weekend everything seems to work very well except that my microphone in 'normal mode' (as supposed to speaker phone) is very low volume so people cannot hear me very well. I tried setting volumes louder but it does not seem to work.
With Skype my microphone is just to low (or I would say even muted). I have to change into 'speaker phone' (so I get some ECO's some time) otherwise the other side cannot hear me at all.
I also tried going into Mobileuncle tools but, eventhough I think I did find where I should change the values, I don't know what values to set.
Would someone know what do I need to do?

first of all, thanks for this rom ervius.
I have a problem with my sd card. 8Gb, class4. Suddenly it stopped working. Android said, there was an error and will not mount it.
In my pc, a lot of folders were bad, with garbage names like 45$%$·"·$")( and something like that, and i could nor delete those files, nor partitioning the sd.
At last, using archlinux + mc + gparted to delete some of the erratic files, i could delete the partition and recreate it.
About 60% of the data were lost, and i could only recover the other 40%, but not all my real data, pics, etc.
A search in google says it may be the sd card that is faulty, or maybe the rom or the android drivers.
Can you give a hint. I dont want this to happend again.
