Features ROM:
Note that there are two different examples of G3:
1) G3
2) G3N
1) has a chipset MT6620
2) has a chipset MT6628
how to recognize: all devices with build (in product info): 20130223-071508 G3N and later fitted with a chip MT6628, the oldier mount MT6620 chipset
the roms for the G3 are not compatible with the G3N and vice versa
differences:
flashate if a wrong rom (for example a rom on G3N G3) not work properly: WIFI, BT, FM radio and GPS, so if you do not work none of this hardware, you probably have the wrong rom, download the one for the other device and riflashate .

IN MY ROMS JB 4.1.2 The Tethers ARE PERFECTLY WORKING!
settings added:
in developer options: factory mode and engineermode launcer;
in management sim, dualsim Ringer settings
fixato dualsim ringer and added some scripts to:
optimize and speed up your system: Zipalign, optimization and system ram, and supercharger
(If you do a restore after the installation you lose a part of the supercharger script …..)

updated boot logo, changing image!
applications that are put in settings are invisible in "programs"
optimized still the build.prop, and, of course the old changes:
reduction to 10 ms vibrio button operation
SMS long (No more self-transformation in mms sopo 3 concatenated SMS!)
extended PowerMenu (adding the "recovery" to reboot in recovery mode)
disbilitato the red LED to charge less than 15%
stretched to 5 seconds the flashing LED notifications (blue and green!)

ATTENTION ALL ROMS MAKE A FULL WIPE! (Before flashing make a full backup of your system and data)
you can 'perform two types of installations for the roms
a) clean istall: installed the rom from recovery modded!
b) istall with recovery: from clockwork mod, make a backup (only data and cache), installed the rom, you restore and reboot, you will have all vistri data and programs but on a brand new rom!
PS: If you come from a ICS 4.0.4, nn do a restore after you have installed the 4.1.2 JB, or the phone to reboot will go in boot-loop (nn will start and you will have to reflash the rom!)

Install ROM:
Only add to the procedure used with Recovery LEWA:
1) Backup essential, always.
2) Factory reset
3) Wipe Dalvik cache and cache
4) Install zip (Rom)
5) Wipe cache and Dalvik cache
6) Reboot
So start the first time, quickly and completely clean.
With Titanium restore all your applications.

yes, only 3 colours not combined, is native into phone roms!
This is a great ROM.
I also had a bit of a burden with low gps signal but that is solved with FasterGPS.
I have problems with the proximity sensor, this does not always work well.
The screen go's black but does not alway com back,
With GThrill v3 ROM I have no problem at all
Through this site below I tried out the proximity fix but it does not work.

Dual sim ringer works great, where can I download it
you can calibrate proximity sensor with proper util into engineer mode (or factroy mode, don't remember well…..), for dualsim ringer, it is integrated into my roms , so only into my roms you'll able to find it!!
Can I remove the R Roamign indicator? I've tried to add these lines to the build.prop:
ro.roaming.extended=true
ro.roaming.extended_rule=1
but it doesn't work

I want to update new Rom using Smart phone Flash tool but now my computer can not recognise G3. I think i did something wrong, before that i pressed button Format in Tab Download

shit!!!!, I uset ita on another tel, and bricked, btw, there was an hardware mod to unbrick, but I don't know if it's possible also for G3 device…. try on google "unbrick JIAYU G3", but before try to connect it by "sp flash tool", maybe that soft recognize the phone and you will able to flash a sp flash tool stock G3 rom….

Is there a way to shot off the proximitiy sensor.
Then I use the power button to turn the display on and off If I make a phone call.
try this way:
settings->developer panel->engineer mode->other extra pane->psensor….
try to calibrate it pressing "Start" button and following the instrunctions….

I have 2 issues:
a) SIM ToolKit always crashes when selecting first SIM card (which realy is in slot 2). Then both networks go down for a couple of seconds while they restart.
b) Is there any way to increase the 200 entries limit in call log? If I restore a backup with nearly 600 entries they are all listed until I receive or I make any call, then only last 200 calls are listed and older call get deleted.

This is the second rom I tried, both from this site and both with that limit.
I don’t know if the oficial rom has the same limit but I think it problably has.
Is a little frustrating. My wife’s LG P350 is a much MUCH weaker phone and it’s call log isn’t limited.

On a different subject, about backup and restore in settings, the backup option to Google servers is working? Because the second line says “backing up to debug-only private cache”… ?
Your suggestion to calibrate works. But you have to calibrate after a reboot.
