DESCRIPTION


 

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. First of all you need to install CWM recovery mode on your phone and for that all you need is a root access.

2. Install the ROM

3. Enjoy !

CWM INSTALATION :

1. Download "CWM_recovery.img" and copy it to your SD card or you phone memory.

2. Download Mobileuncle Tools from Playstore and install it.

3. Open Mobileuncle and choose "Recovery Update"

4. Here you will see the "CWM_recovery.img"

5. Tap on it, than click "OK" and wait till it finishes.

6. Now you can choose to Reebot in recovery and install the ROM.

ROM INSTALATION :

1. Download the ROM.

2. Copy the ROM to your SD card.

3. Boot in CWM Mode (Power Button + Volume UP Key) Once you enter in CWM navigate with your Volume Rocker Volume UP = UP//Volume Down = Down// Power Button = Confirm.

4. First choose "wipe date/factory reset"

5. Next, choose "wipe cache partition"

6. Go to mounts and storage and here format : data/system/cache

7. And for last go to advanced, and choose "Wipe Dalvik Cache"

8. After this you can install the ROM.

 - Choose "Instal zip from SD card"

 - Choose zip from SD card.

 - locate the rom in your SD card.

 - choose YES.

 - and wait until it Finish and then chooose : +++++++++Go Back+++++++++

- Rebot system now and enjoy your new ROM. In case phone dont start after this : Wipe Data and Cache in CWM.

5. Enjoy!

 

OK Guys that is the whole procedure to install this ROM, and its easy :)

The ROM is working great with no bugs and no chinese apps so give it a try, test it and tell me what you think in the comments.

I have just ported this ROM and make it work on this phone. So thanks to them this phone is working great and the games are running with no lag even on this phone :D

      And for first time is this phone fast as hell. So I will test it and if is there any issue I will comment here. Niko well done, I was prepared for sending

    Regarding rageGem2.0:

    1. Where is the GPS on/off setting? Can it be placed in the action bar control buttons?

    2. Is there a torch and where to find it? Can it also be added to the action bar control buttons?

    2. In all 3 ROMs (these 2 and the other) the mobile data connection could not be established (the phone didn't get operator settings). APN needed to be added by hand.

    The overall experience was best with rageGem2.0, then 4.4.2 and last 4.2.2.

    I couldn't find a way to insert an external SD card (no SD slot). In the instructions you may consider adding a remark for phones with internal SD card only. The recovery and the ROM should be placed in the emmc. Then in recovery the ZIPs must be selected from the internal SD card. In the ROM installation instructions steps 5 and 6 are not necessary as "wipe data/factory reset" formats the cache partition.

    Maybe it is also a good idea to give instructions for ROM installation when for some reason the phone is in boot-loop or cannot load the GUI, but there is access to the recovery. It happened to me once when I forgot to copy the ROM from my pc to the emmc, but wiped data in recovery. Fairly easy to do with fastboot with the phone in recovery connected to PC through USB. Unfortunately I couldn't find the original link, download and instructions to post here – I will add it later.

    Here is the link. All command instances refering to /sdcard/ should read /emmc/ for devices with no external SD card.

    Thanks a lot for good ROM! Works well but the rear camera…

    Small question: Do you know about two files in internal memory: "mp3.mp3" and "movie.mp4"? Those file are always in memory. I've delete both files but thie pair is in memory in a while… Again and again.. The same as https://www.needrom.com/downlo.....ad/jiake-v5/

    I also confirm GPS not working in this ROM – icon blinks, nothing happens.

    Used Monami-ya's GPS finder, no sat's found – 3 hours searching, clear sky, no obstacles.

    I've tried – my GPS didn't work on any of the ROMs including the original Chinese ROM – obviously a hardware failure. Although, when I got it it used to work. Sucks…

    I decided to use the "Kitkat 4.4.2" ROM and not the "rageGem 2.0" as it is superior with a better UI, better camera and other features.

    It is also sad that Nikola has dropped further work and rework of ROMs for this phone. Thanks, for what you did Nikola! Great job!

    Hi after install ragegem2, pop sound in recorded audio from camera, in oter rom not  problem. Only in ragegem2, my phone lenovo s820i (jaike v5).
