Description:
Upgrade to retain all settings and programs. Appendix "Update" – three points (top right corner) – Select the firmware file (before and after the update wipes are to make the Dalvik Cache and Cache). You can upgrade to 8 MIUI multirom 6.9.22.
Port phone Xiaomi Redmi 1 WCDMA with multirom.me site.
Installation only through TWRP 2.8.4.0 I.nfraR.ed and only the memory layout Petro1990 or Superthan.
By default, the core A820-Proton Kernel-v2.55-zram-uv (3.4.112) (from 18.05.2016) I.nfraR.ed.
Languages - Russian, Ukrainian, Lithuanian, English, German, and two Chinese (MIUI 8 multirom 6.8.11, 6.9.22).

Recommendations for firmware:
01. Enable Z-RAM (310 MB), the application Kernel Adiutor Mod – Virtual Memory – Z-RAM.
02. Settings – Advanced Options – For Developers – Optimizing memory (should be tested).
03. Settings – Advanced Settings – Privacy – Program Quality Enhancement (disable).

Keyboard not working, flashed 2 times, erased cache, dalvick etc., nothing. I installed from my docs, android keyboard, and doesen't work.
The firmware should be installed with all wipe and everything will work.
Are the gps working?, need to play pokemon go…

You can not, I will do today to version 6.7.7.

I have lenovo a820t. I rooted the phone with KingoRoot. Its safe easy and fast. I also find lenovo original rom superb, heaving features that are presented in Android 6 OS. That means Original rom is kinda advanced, but the Android version is just on 4.1.2., and that is a problem.
I am new to replacing rom, and I do not have a clue on how to use this rom on this phone. The info you provided does not help. Usb mode apk link does not work. I found another one on the internet but its in Russian, and I do not understand it. I can read Serbian Cirilica letters but not Russian.
Could you please be so kind and write everything in 1. 2. 3. …steps for noobs like myself?

btw if somehow managed to update lenovo launcher trough some sort of chinesse security app called ''360''. It installed on its own when I connected my phone to a pc in school. Launcher looks very cool. But still, os is 4.1.2, and I need kitkat
This firmware is only for Lenovo A820, from Lenovo A820t not work.
there is an error message activated sim card. it can be hard to get through the first slot. Once all contact ceased for CHAR1. All I reinstalled. may have some "tricks" that I do not know?
You can activate the SIM card if the phone is switched to English.
Also I get error message with sim cards, I selected English language but the error remain. How can I resolve?

Try reinstalling the firmware with all wipe.
when updating partition i get E: unable to to mount ' /emmc

E: unable to to mount ' /storage
After partitioning the memory error can be. But if the firmware establish normal then all is well.
