I guess you can root it with super su ,download it and flash with updater in tools icon.In previuos miui versions i think root was onboard but couldn't find this now.
I found out that after few charging cycles there's no more battery drop.I like this rom muy(miui) bien
I hope it is possible to fix 3g on 900mhz ,now it is not working
(same as rc and xtreme)

Use recovery, I only wipe cash after install
yes, really good rom. the main bug for me is quallity of video recording. picture is oversharped, like on german RC2. another problem is lack of double tap to wake up. gesture app's from the market drain battery. yesterday I found that igo and navigon keep voice on max volume, even I put phone vol to minimum? sygic works ok. on lock screen I can adjust volume on any rom except this miui. there is a few new version of this rom, but it's only english and chinesse, not multilanguage. there is a member of androiani forum call becar, who modified original rom to eu version. hope he can solve this…
another bug found:
after airplane mode, both sim card not working. reboot required
OMG simantov you are right…. Inside "Security" App there's "star" with "permissions" and we could manually tell wich apps could have root.

There was an update today: miui 6.1.7 but i cant install it and i don’t know why. it reboots into TWRP WinTeam and i go into the “download rom” folder and i select the update but it goes into an error!

I have noticed something which happens with this and other ROMs. When wifi is enabled (even if not connected to a network) the GPS location jumps around and is completely useless for navigation. Disabling wifi makes GPS location stable and accurate again. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there any explanation or fix for it?
