Install ROM :
CWM
Step 1: Download the custom ROM copied to an external SD card root directory
Step 2: the shutdown state. While holding down:
– Power button + volume button up, to enter the recovery mode.
– Wipe Data / Factory Reset -> delete all user data
– Wipe Cache Partition -> Wipe cache
– Advanced -> Wipe Dalvik Cache
Step 3: Return to recovery main interface Install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from sdcard -> Select your ROM
Step 4: Brush complete, restart the phone Patience required – first boot takes a while
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

Somebody has a cwm recovery for the star n9800 please ? If possible to install with mtk mobile uncle tool. Thanks

With mtk uncle tool the recovery isnt installed. I must do install with flashtool and see if its good.
this rom isnt a same format than stock rom. there is no scatter included in the package. How i do install it ? thanks
this rom is designed to be flashed from CWM (recovery) and not flashtools, so no need for scatter.
This rom works well, but not Carliv Touch Recovery V2.2

I know that i needs to install this with cm recovery but the problem is i can ‘t install ctr v2.2 or another and install this package. Who can sens me a recovery and a tutorial to install a custom recovery forme installé this package. With mobile uncle tool with mobile rooted its not good.

The following may be of interest to some:
1.,Rooting succesful with framaroot.apk (Barahir option works)
2. Custom recovery successfully created with ctrv2.2 (http://www.guruslodge.com/inde…..z2wQ5tI8Sk)
3. xposed framework and gravity box also work on the rooted phone.
4. other, more sophistaicated launchers also work (nova, apex)

Don't think this works on the STAR N9800, tried it and it bricked my device… Sorted the problem by installing a different ROM though.

i flashed different ROMs and it got unresponsive. i have to pull the battery out sometimes and restart the phone for it to work. can you tell me how you fixed your phone? i tried flashing stock ROMs but it didn't help. screen is still sometimes unresponsive. can you please upload boot.img from your backup so i can try with that? i think kernel is the problem.
