Custom ROM Mobile JIAYU G4S – ROM Android 4.2.2
ONLY MT6592
MADE FROM Official JIAYU ROM for G4S WCDMA : G4S 20140609-211642
Changes from Official ROM:
- Uninstalled all Chinese apks and input mode
- Installed European Google Keyboard
- Installed MobileUncle Tools
- Updated all apks
- CWM recovery
- no preloader to prevent wrong phone brick
Update:
Fixed Root option from previous posted ROM
Install ROM :
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select the contained MT6592_Android_scatter_emmc.txt inside ROM compressed file
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
–> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.
- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !
- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM

Sadly the Jiayu launcher is not so configurable.. but you can change the launcher
I tried to flash my Jiayu G4S advanced with your ROM but SP flashtools gave me a BROM: S_DL_GET_DRAM_SETTIING_FAIL (5054) error. Now my phone is sort of dead. Any thoughts on how this could happen and what the solution is? I would really appreciate some help!

Really sorry for that, but I'm sure that the problem isn't in my ROM: please, what version of SP FlashTool do you used for flash? Maybe try to store the official ROM: do you get the same error?
Thanks for your reply. I'm not pointing a finger at your ROM. I suspect I didn't have the right drivers installed and the phone disconnected during flashing. The official ROM gives the same error. I use SP flashtool 5.1348. The phone is not completely dead, my computer recognizes it when I connect it.
Got it working again
I had to set the speed in SP flashtools to full speed then I could download the original ROM. After that I flashed it with your ROM. Very happy now

Hello, i like this Rom and i want change my Jiayu official rom G4S 2014010-165225 for this, but i don't know if i have to choose "F9 (hit Download button)" or "Firmware->Upgrade" option. What is the difference and which should i select?. This rom change the official recovery?
