Myriad is a simple and highly functional custom ROM for mtk (MT6589) devices. It is based on pure AOSP and gives ultimate vanilla experience.
It is JellyBean ROM i.e ver 4.2.2. The ROM has a simplified UI but also has many powerful apps to control the ROM. It is user friendly and quiet stable.
Some of the unique features of this ROM are integrated highly functional floating apps including Float Caller, Xposed Framework with GravityBox for full customization, OG Battery Mod for amazing battery styles, ViperFX for the best music Experience, Myriad Control Centre which has many new features including a custom Themer too.
It also uses some parts of Pure Performance tweaks and some of its own for best possible performance of the ROM and moreover these tweaks are toggle able too.
There are some other fun features like framework animation, some custom fonts, HTC Sense Style Recent Task which the user can try.
Overall this ROM is a solid package of all components which a user needs.

Files were tested, and they all works.
You should do before installing this ROM:
in CWM
- wipe data/factory reset
- wipe cache partition
- mounts and storage>format /system
- advanced>wipe dalvik cache
in TWRP (2.6.3.0 recommended)
- wipe> wipe data/factory reset
- wipe> advanced wipe> check all except sdcard
※Please make a backup of your device before installing or updating ROM
please do so in view of recently opened applications meet sandwiched home button instead of the menu button
I haven't been able to install any of the full or the lite. I have CWM 6.0.4 recommended by cappa. The error complains about symlinks… first time I see that, anythoughts? Should I update my CWM?

His not for A820.. this rom he have front camera (lol) and time to time he make reboot alone….

That’s a pretty neat ROM, yet I can see some problems concerning Camera app:
1. As it was mentioned before, button switching to front camera shouldn’t be available for this phone, if you click it, you need to reboot the device or even delete the application data to use the camera again
2. Movies recorded in HD resolutions are deformed, they look like 4:3 stretched to 16:9. Movies recorded in 480p are fine
Also pictures made with default settings seem to be overly saturated with red and blue, but maybe it’s just my personal impression.
At last pics are not too dark when made in poor lighting conditions, in opposite to most of other ROMs
+1, my point, too. I have also tried different camera apps, all with dark pictures in low light. Very good ROM, very fast! Thank you!
Does the lite version have fast gps fix?
After couple hours of using lite version, the wifi indicator was just grey and wifi sometimes didn't worked (if worked it was as slow as snail) the problem was with the phone, because on my other phone (galaxy mini i running cm11) was everythink great. So please fix it or tell me a solution to fix it, if i'm only the one who has this problem.
