You can choose your partition (I have 5GB for apps) and it is already rooted.
It works like charm…:) just unzip a few times… then i used flashtool v5.1512
anyways if you download philz touch you can easily change recovery image in flashtool and use it to root your doogee…:)

Hi guys, first of all I'd like to say thanks for all the great info… I made the jump to a Doogee Turbo Mini F1 last week and have been having a lot of fun playing around with it. So far I rooted it and have it all configured the way I want, but the app limit is sort of a pain so I've been AppManager to move what I can to the microSD card. I did want to take advantage of this larger partition ROM, but as I am a total newbie to Android modding I've had a bit of trouble. Here's what I've done so far:
1. I downloaded the ROM link above. It was like 500mb. That zip opened to a gz file, which uncompressed to a plain old file (no extension) called t855a-ouqi-k58-doogee-big-qhd-w1258-fdd1 that is now 1gb sitting on my hard drive.
2. I downloaded and installed Media Tek SP FlashTool v5.1524.00
That's about where I get lost. I run the program, but it doesn't recognize my phone. I'm also at a loss as to what to do with this 1gb file. Any help would be appreciated, and please don't leave out steps, since I'm new to this I really suck at reading minds. :)
remove the battery when giving download
