- Instructions
- Backup your data. Upgrading will erase all your data if you install default way (even selecting Firmware Upgrade)
- Download official firmware, firmware 5.0 and unrar it.
- Install mtk drivers, mtk-driver-auto-installer
- Then power off your phone, remove battery, execute sp-flash-tool. Put scatter loading file and click download (I recommend Format All + Download). Connect phone, wait, when done disconnect phone, put battery and power on. Wait about 5 minutes.

Tested with sp-flash-tool.
I've been having problems with wifi (disabled sometimes) and battery (low autonomy).

alguien sabe como regresar de 5.0 a 4.4… me urge no le dura nada la bateria y no me deja mucho espacio en la memoria…
Por la memoria, no hay solucion con este ROM ni con 4.4 (por eso voy a probar lo que puedo hacer con "AOSP V3").
Pero, por la batteria hay que rootear tu dispositivo e instalar "DisableServe" (lo puedes encontrar en Google Play). En este app ir al pestaña de sistema y busca "Security Locker". Entra alli y deseleccionar "LockerService2". Tu batteria durara como un campeon despues de esto.
I flashed this ROM last month and everything seem to be fine.
Here's what I did after flashing:
1- I rooted with KingoRoot (I understand that means that I have let the Kingo group hack my phone).
2- I installed "DisableService" from google play and disabled Security locker (thank you all for pointing out it's drain on battery). I didn't feel comfortable with completly removing it.
3- I Installed Nokia's "Here" app for GPS navigation, and it seems to get a lock just as it slowly as it did before this update (but not slower).
My only gripe is that the partition sizing still sucks, so I'll be flashing AOSP V3 and the repartitioning script next. Pray for me!

mano soy de venezuela.. al actualizar perdi el imei y tuve qe volver a kitkat para repararlo con mtk droid tools.. como actualizo sin perder el imei?? ya que he intentado de mil maneras hacer backup pero no he podido me ayudarias?
