     Mine has the original V1.0.1_V5 version and has a lot of brightness.

     I can not reduce this brightness and this causes an awkward viewing at night.

     I would also like to know if this problem is solved with any of these ROM's.

   I tried V6 and V7 so far. Google play services do not update. Because of that I used aptoide app and then update them successful but I get display problems. With the first time I click in aptoide on "update my apps" the screen goes black and does work probably. Every time from that moment every app I try to install or every update of my apps cause this problem. I will report if I find a solution.

   *update* With V5 screen goes mad even earlier with the second I install aptoide.

   p.s. google maps gps does not find me neither (but not so important to me).

     *Update*
     I decided to stay with V7 right now. Display problems are related to the akku. Just fully load before flashing ROM and also keep PS connected for first use and first config (install. of all needed apps).

   I received my Onda V10 Pro 4/32 with V5 Firmware in a gearbest clearance sale for 86 Euro

   I dont think, that this tablet will ever see Android 7, 8 or others, but price was so low that it was okay for me

   A little "workaround" for the display brightness: Just install apps like "blue light filter"(tested-works fine) or "cf lumen" (not tested) and you will be able to significantly decrease brightness

   I rooted it and now use "brightness tweak" app which brings the brighteness to an acceptable level as a minimum.
   i also have the boot.img i made with magisk manager on the same device. just use the flash tools and only select the new boot.img i have (i can post if anybody wants).
   no twrp yet, at least i haven't found one.
