It seems that installing xposed installer produce frequent boots.

So does layers finally work or not? @niklabs have you tried it?

    • 07/17/2014

As I said I didn’t installed the rom, but tried all of othet AOSP roms for our phone till now and NO layers themes support even Androium 5..
For this rom the developer clearly said that layers should work, but in real life users reported that they don’t work. :/ It’s not really a problem to try the rom if you want to be sure, but why because I was into this rom mostly because of Layers support… btw I’m dualbooting Lemonade 1544+Androium 5, so sure I can install one more rom. lol

      Update; Layers are working. :)

I tested the Rom again and also a complete wipe performed, now I have to say "well done" ;)

Is it possible for the next update that Xposed and data protection are with on board ?

    It has LED notification?

    • HuyZuong

      using light flow =)

    • 07/17/2014

Why dear felkows this led functionality is so important to you? K3 Note supports only red and green led, the way Lenovo put this led controller on board is more likely that they can say the phone supports LED notification, but having only 2 colors is ridiculous.

*fellows lol I’m typing in a hurry sorry for that.

More: (Themes applied Art and Flat)

And the most ridiculous: I’m running the rom from my external sd card, because I’m now triple booting!!! Cudos to the dev! I’ll gladly donate to your project mate if you wish to add init.d support and keep adding new features.

Once again, to clear things up, the true devs of the ROM are superdragonpt and DerTeufel1980. I only ported the rom, and made some changes to make things work with the Lenovo K3 Note.

As far as init.d support is concerned, there is init.d support as far as I know.

*** I updated the ROM description here to show screenshots that Layers work.

Thanks for all your comments guys… however, I am wondering about one major issue: which ROM between Phonix and Androium 5 is best, taking into consideration Battery life, memory and storage swap, GPS etc. (i.e. the things that matter…). I replaced the previous Phonix with Androium 5 and now I wonder about this update… Any comment is more than welcome…

They're pretty much the same bro, but if you want the ability to change themes (which is pretty cool imo and gives CM like experience) Phoenix ROM is for you.

Is this an actual update of https://www.needrom.com/downlo.....ad/phoenix-rom/? Or is this just a repost by @PorkchopMiyer?

    • 02/07/2013

This is an updated version. The one on your link is based on Beta 9. This one is based on RC1

Thank you. It was unclear, since the screenshots appear identical to what my phone shows. Did you happen to read the thread I linked to? I reported some bugs that you can relay to the devs.
