this rom is a backup of my s5 sm-g900 mt6572.
Works fine with the screen turned on, if i turn the screen off to sleep mode the phone restarts, it can be an rom issue or an hardware issue, dont know cause the phone came like this.
So if you want to try this rom if you have your phone bricked, try it and please come here and tell me if you have the restart problem as i have, for me to know if it is a rom issue or an hardware issue.
It is a backup of my rom, so i think you have to do this:
1) Open MTK droid tools
Click Scatter from file and choose firmware.info from your backup folder where u created original firmware backup with mtk
2)Save the text file (overwrite or replace numbers) inside the backup directory
3)Goto,root,backup,recovery and click to select "To prepare blocks for Flash tool". Navigate again to the backup folder and locate to find files.md5.
(Ensure that the scatter file created above is in same directory)
4)NExt it will automatically start to prepare the files so that you can flash it via SP Flash tool.
5) Wait for few minutes and the stock rom is ready to flash and will be located with folder name "!Files_to_FlashTool" under backup\yourdevicefoldername\.
Now you can flash it with spflashtools by opening up the new scatter which is in the new folder , it will automatically load up all files.
This second upload i think you dont have to do anything about it, only flashing if you have the same model ( and do a backup of your file before you flash something)

I have Samsung Galaxy S5 clone and i bricked it. Can't turn it on, can't go to recovery mode. It's totally dead. I tried a lot of roms but doesn't work. The hardwer what was on the phone MT6572 (mt6589 fake). Can somebody help me? Nowhere find that for S5.
I MEszter, sorry to see that your phone is bricked.
You only have one solution, continue trying some roms, did you know all the specs of your phone? it gets easyer if you know all that stuff, like model, i know it is a s5 clone but what model? SM-G900??? other things like kernel, screen driver, etc…
Did you try this rom? Also there is a chinese webpage with a lot of roms, it is easyer there to find one, translate the page with chrome, http://pan.baidu.com/share/hom.....category/type=0.
Did you flash some other roms with what ticked? all the rom? try to never flash the preloader because if your computer recognize your phone it is because the preloader is good, so never flash it because one time you can get a wrong preloader from another rom, and pufff, you will never be able to connect to your computer again.

ciao ho provato la tua rom non mi da nussuno riavvio pero io avevo problemi di rete a quanto pare e rimasto non prende la rete io pensavo che cambiando la rom risolvevo ma siamo sempre la io ho provato il tuo backup da recovery and restore sd card ho fatto repristino imiei mtkdroid sempre lostesso mobile euncle tools niente arriva la rete io uso tim ho wind che per me sono i migliori operatori il problema del nocciolo prende un po e poi telo scordi la rete ho pensato non ce modo di cambiare kernel ho modem con recovery grazie amici

sorry. i port this rom for S4 SC, but after phone got sleep, the colour of screen look greeny. superuser installed but dont have root acces. please help
masrursteen, i really dont know how it works porting this rom for s4. this rom is for s5 and for sure have different specifications, so for s4 it will not work properly even if you port it

Thank you for your answer. I have a SM-G900F. Don't know any other specifications couse the mtk droid tools doesn't see it. I think totally kill my phone because don't know that musn't flash the preloader and i did it. So doesn't any hope for me? The link doesn't work what you post.
