DESCRIPTION
This rom is a porting from Cyanogenmod 11 (4.4.4 – kitkat) for Wiko Stairway (mtk6589)
This is the first Kitkat rom for HDC Galaxy note 3 (Gapps not included)
I think work only for HDC Galaxy note 3(ibaby888) with 1Gb Ram and 8Gb Rom MT6589
Please before flash this rom YOU HAVE TO DO A BACKUP
Flashable on CMW and need Root
IM NOT RESPONSABLE FOR ANY BRICK OR HARDBRICK TO YOUR DEVICE
Do it at your own risk.
Installation guide:
- Install new CWM linked in this thread- if you don't have it yet, make sure you backup recovery.img
- Make a backup with CWM – you will want to go back to stock, don't blame me if you don't have a backup!!!
- copy the SciamanRom4.4.zip to the phone and flash the zip with CWM
- Download Gapps for CM11, copy to phone and install the zip (see: http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Google_Apps - this is CM11)
- Wipe

So, what works and don't work on this Build?
Also won't need a new CWM versions up from 6.0.5… to install KITKAT?
On wiko Stairway this is what works and what don't works:
What works:
- SIM1 for phone calls (incoming/outgoing) and SMS, data (2g, 3g)
- SIM2 is a WIP
- Audio (microphone – now also outside phone calls, loudspeaker, headphones, OK google)
- Sensors
- Wifi (not wifi direct)
- GPS (no A-GPS yet nor EPO assist files, so the fix can take a bit)
- hw composer
- camera for taking pictures (not video)
- wifi and usb tethering
- battery usage stats (expect the usage for Display to be very unprecise)
- bluetooth
- candy crush, facebook and twitter
What doesn't work, known bugs:
- 2nd sim card 3G switch
- Dual SIM is a WIP, not has some bugs (data connection instability, etc.)
- camera for "movies" does not work
- (hw) video en/decoding not enabled
- FM radio not available
- A-GPS does not work, GPS works though but slowish

This Rom, looks the be the most stable build of kitkat for MTK6589, if you got sucessfull kernel booting on Wiko Rom, maybe this Rom can be ported too? (Sorry for many questions, but if need I'll be able to help the porting.)

You just take ou my Ported Rom and faked some things. The Build.prop is exactly like mine AOSP 4.2.1, and also the build prop says:

No, for Kitkat the Phone need a brand new Kernel. This here is only a themed Jelly Bean, the one I've ported for our phone, and the Poster faked some things. But is actually JB 4.2.1
