Tengda S5 Android L (5.0) ROM (4.4.2Base) (G9000)

About the ROM:
- Android L themed (the base of the ROM is still 4.4.2)
- Custom touch recovery which has built in File manager, and finally the USB Storage Mounting works…
- Pre-installed apps (Chrome, SuperUser, BusyBox, ES File Manager, Google Now Launcher)
- Fully rooted, busybox installed, and filesystem fully RW.
- Xposed framework and modules to customize your phone!
Changelog:
- Advanced Power Menu
- Heads up notifications! (Can be disabled in GravityBox)
- Added Xposed Framework fully working!
- Xposed Modules: GravityBox, SDcardfix, Ex-Themer, BurntToast
- Modules are visible in system settings
- Added fully working Android L camera (stock camera still present because S View uses it)
- KK Launcher L is set as default to avoid Google Launcher force closing. You can set Google Launcher as default after updating Google Search from Google play!
- Heading towards Android L (5.0) about 60% done. More details below.
- System now shows that you have the Android L version, like on the Nexus 5.
- Replaced Root Explorer with ES File Manager (its more compatible with the filesystem)
- Added GPS Fix
- Fixed signal color in status bar so it matches the wifi and the battery.
- Added back the stock Browser alongside Chrome (got many requests)
- Fixed some visual and non-visual bugs
Android L features at the moment:
- Google Now Launcher (Can be activated by updating Google Search)
- Boot logo and animation
- Ringtones, notifications, alarms and system sounds
- Android L material keyboard
- Google Play Services updated (no noticable change, just needed for the L stuff)
Things I'm working on:
- Android L camera (its almost done will be added in next update) done
- L lockscreen and statusbar and systemUI (I very very hard and time consuming…)
- Xposed Framework and some must-have modules (still in testing state) done

Be sure that your battery is charged more than 50% before flashing.

I will do my best to update the rom with new features!
Known issues:
- When you are in recovery and you hit reboot it always ask if you want to fix the root or not, just ignore it, doesnt matter if you hit Yes or No nothing will happen.
- You can still only wipe data/cache on the Stock recovery!
If you find anything that is not listed above, message me and I'll try to fix it.
I'm also taking suggesting for what to include in the rom!

1gb I think but I'm really not sure…everyone keep saying that this phone has 1gb only but every benchmark says 2gigs im not sure.
1GB RAM, take a look at "system/etc/changeram.xml" and "system/etc/agold_cheat_evaluating_software.xml" files
Yes if you change the value in changeram to 1024 then the benchmark software will show the true 1 GB ram. Some have said they feel the phone is quicker when set to 1gb. What I noticed is that the phone still uses a lot of memory resources even when set to 1gb. I think this is because the chinese developers have enabled 512 mb of virtual swap memory and the phone allows much of the 1gb to be used up by apps because it can use the extra 512 of the swap file. However swap is memory is really only good for phones with low ram and is likely to affect performance negatively when used. If you download terminal emulator and run the command “free” you will see the 512 mb swap in use. I have managed to disable this temporarily before and the phone did seem better. You cannot disable permanently though as the system re enables it on reboot. The swap file is in the root directory of the phone and is called enableswap.sh. It is being loaded within init.rc on line 1430. Because this is a system directory if you try and remove that line the file is restored each time in reboot. Only if you are able to edit this file in the .system.img before installing the rom can you fix it permanently, which is a real pain if you don’t have Linux access.
Rom is very nice overall, just a small thing though. Does the gravitbox battery features work for anyone? If I try and use the circle battery with or without the percentage it does not work. The circle is just a full white circle and the percentage just reads 0.
Battery theming is not working at the moment :/

I like the idea of this ROM,i want To flash it un my g9000 bit the problems like the play store and gps malfunction make me scare jeje i want To know if the developer will upload a update this month.I will donate i promise jaja but when the rom be “perfect” .Thanks for your work developer
I am trying to find a fix for the gps issue, but no promises as it is really complicated. The playstore problem is not so serious, if you get that error you just need to remove and readd your account and clear data on the google play applications that is all
any tip to use the rom without the phone make the bug of pin code ???

just disable your pin code, I'm using it like that, that is the only fix at the moment
this doest work, now, my backup have the same problem and i don't know how i resolve this, this problem is a big shit, because when i restore my back up, the phone just enter with this pin code in the beginning and i can't enter in any menu, my problem is in the beginning,
this disable pin, how can i make this if the rom just don't gave me option to enter in config, don't gave me option to out of lockscreen
I dont even know what you are talking about… You get a PIN request when restoring the backup? I dont get it. Put your SIM card in another phone, disable PIN lock and put it back to this phone
i need to make a video to show this, but after 25 restore, finally i get,
to explain:
the phone start normally and after some seconds just back to lock screen and the phone ask a pin code
but in case of your rom Android L, just stay in pin code and i don't know what i make, but i will waiting your touchwiz rom, this is a great new, you gonna make a touchwiz rom ???
If you disable your PIN code it will be fine, I dont know anything else atm
I'm not sure if the touchwiz rom will be finished… I have a lot of work to do with other stuff I dont have a lot of time for it as I'm using my free time to work on roms. If donations start rolling in again I will definietly make the rom happen.
