DESCRIPTION

~~Download and Install correctly Mediatek Preloader drivers.~~

~~Download Flashtool and unpack it in a directory.~~

~~1- With flashtool load MT6735_Android_Scatter TWRP.txt~~

~~2- Select download and connect smartphone to pc (smartphone must be powered off)… in few seconds will start the process and the new TWRP will be flashed.~~

~~To restore original stock recovery, you need load at point 1 the file MT6735_Android_Scatter.txt~~

~~P.S. to enter in the recovery, power off the smartphone, push VOL + and Power at the same time, you will see three words with VOL + you move selection, with VOL – you havw to select Recovery~~

Forzen, can't select, or do anything once custom recovery is accessed. Thanks for your efforts either way.

sorry.. i received feebback that TWRP doesn't work properly.. it freezes without touch functionality (probably kernel issue).
Also alter reeboot it will be substituted with recovery stock by a firmware script (recovery-from-boot.sh)
I think that without M1 in my hand i can't help you more to solve the issue.

  If I may make a suggestion. Instead of touch-able TWRP version, can you try it with a non-touch version instead. Once TWRP is accessed initially, it hopefully can be rooted, and then a more permement version of TWRP can be installed later. Cheers!

please try CWM if boots:
Download Flashtool and unpack it in a directory.
1- With flashtool load MT6735_Android_Scatter- CWM.txt
2- Select download and connect smartphone to pc (smartphone must be powered off)… in few seconds will start the process and the new CWM will be flashed.

To restore original stock recovery, you need load at point 1 the file MT6735_Android_Scatter.txt

  Hi, just tested it… I get a blank screen this time. . Oh well, thanks for your efforts. I can also confirm flashify method doesn't work either. Cheers.
