2. Updated the Lollipop stuff to NEXUS 4 Android 5.1 Lollipop LMY47O.

Features:
1. Fixed the AutoFocus by using libcameracustom.so from UMI X1S 20130528 (I didn't use this newer ROM as base because of multiple issues, check the comments here).
2. Pre-Rooted with SuperSU v2.46 (Latest Version).
3. REMOVED ALL the Chinese apps and some useless MediaTek stuff. Performance and Stability are NOT affected at all, I tested everything for months.
4. Google Play Store v5.4.12 (Latest Version).
5. Removed Stock Browser, Email, File Manager, Music and Video, Camera and Gallery (You can use the apps of your choice for these tasks). I recommend the following: Dolphin Browser for Android, K-9 Mail, Amaze File Manager, MX Player Pro and Snap Camera HDR.
6. Removed Stock SMS/MMS app, because of this. Our phone is affected and the only solution is using Another app for SMS/MMS viewing/sending. I recommend chomp SMS because it can handle Dual-Sim very good.
7. Replaced Stock Sounds (Alarms, Ringtones, Notifications, Ui) with the ones from NEXUS 4 Android 5.1 Lollipop LMY47O.
8. Added the Bootanimation from NEXUS 4 Android 5.1 Lollipop LMY47O.
9. Deodexed and Zipaligned.
Recommendations:
1. Use CarlivTouchRecovery v2.7 to flash this ROM. DO ALL 3 wipes (Data, Cache, Dalvik) before!!!
2. Use GravityBox [JB] for customisation. It requires Xposed Framework.
3. Use MTK EPO GPS Fixer for a FAST and WORKING GPS. It requires BusyBox.

You do NOT need to unroot. Read this.
Hi installed 2.0 with carliv Touch recovery and all gone well, but I get an error at the end of install of 2.01 update, and installing aborts
v2.02 fixed that

Hello guys . I just put the 3.0 … With Vodafone sim , the ROM does not correctly set the APN ! I do not make available the data connection on 3G network !!! voice and text messages work fine . Thanks for your work

Let's clear up some things. First of all, the Phone in questions here is UMI X1S, so if you have another Brand or even another Model, it is obvious this ROM WILL NOT WORK for you. UMI X1S has a clone, the IconBIT MercuryXL. As far as I am concerned, these two phones are identical, but I can't guarantee that there are no hardware diferences, so my ROM might work on it too.
Second off all, I bought my phone back in august 2013 and it came with this version preinstalled – UMI X1S 20130520-220931.
UMI issued only one official update, namely the UMI X1S 20130528, in which they managed to fix the autofocus issues present in my original ROM, but the update had manz issues of it's own and it was unusable.
So I did the only reasonable thing, I took the autofocus fix (which was only a lib file) and used it in my original rom. And that is how UMI X1S Laur ROM was born.
If you bought your phone later than me, harware differences might occur, because chinese manufactures are not very constant.
But if your phone was manufactured around the same date (first half of 2013) and it came with UMI X1S 20130520-220931 preinstalled, my ROM will work flawless for you. If not, it still might work, but I can't make any guarantees. So before you complain that this and that don't work, check out your Brand, Model, Manufacturing Date and Original firmware version.
Also, another important thing. My phone has the letter G for sim slot 1 and W for sim slot 2 on the back of the phone. One would assume that G is for GSM and W is for WCDMA. I think that was the ideea, but acctually, when you go to EngineerMode/Telephony/BandMode you will notice exactly the oposite. So Sim Slot 1 (the one marked with the letter G on the back) has GSM Mode + UMTS Mode and Sim Slot 2 (the one marked with the letter W on the back) has only GSM Mode. But the insanity does not stop here, because I was able to use WCDMA 2100 on both sim slots. I personally use my sim cards according to EngineerMode and everything works great.
