New in v4.0:
1. Updated Google Play Store to v5.4.12
2. Updated the Lollipop stuff to NEXUS 4 Android 5.1 Lollipop LMY47O.

Based on the OFFICIAL ROM by UMI: UMI X1S 20130520-220931
Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean
Features:
1. Fixed the AutoFocus by using libcameracustom.so from UMI X1S 20130528 (I didn't use this newer ROM as base because of multiple issues, check the comments here).
2. Pre-Rooted with SuperSU v2.46 (Latest Version).
3. REMOVED ALL the Chinese apps and some useless MediaTek stuff. Performance and Stability are NOT affected at all, I tested everything for months.
4. Google Play Store v5.4.12 (Latest Version).
5. Removed Stock Browser, Email, File Manager, Music and Video, Camera and Gallery (You can use the apps of your choice for these tasks). I recommend the following: Dolphin Browser for Android, K-9 Mail, Amaze File Manager, MX Player Pro and Snap Camera HDR.
6. Removed Stock SMS/MMS app, because of this. Our phone is affected and the only solution is using Another app for SMS/MMS viewing/sending. I recommend chomp SMS because it can handle Dual-Sim very good.
7. Replaced Stock Sounds (Alarms, Ringtones, Notifications, Ui) with the ones from NEXUS 4 Android 5.1 Lollipop LMY47O.
8. Added the Bootanimation from NEXUS 4 Android 5.1 Lollipop LMY47O.
9. Deodexed and Zipaligned.
Recommendations:
1. Use CarlivTouchRecovery v2.7 to flash this ROM. DO ALL 3 wipes (Data, Cache, Dalvik) before!!!
2. Use GravityBox [JB] for customisation. It requires Xposed Framework.
3. Use MTK EPO GPS Fixer for a FAST and WORKING GPS. It requires BusyBox.

I installed the official firmware. Then your firmware flashed. Replaced the modem, change the permissions, restarted.
PLEASE HELP!! I can't find base official ROM 20130520-220931 for download (every link on the internet seems to be deleted). My UMI X1S only has 20130528 one, and this custom ROM does not install properly. Can anybody point me to a valid link for downloading that official ROM?

i have the UMi X1S with sdcard 32gb, it is posible to use the external SD as internal memory? and repartition the space to obtain more space for data ? all included in the new rom?

Booci, thanks for sharing this rom! A word to the wise: one should disable google "2-step verification" before installing this rom, as there is no sms app, nor a file browser to install a sms apk!
@TCOS, you can use meteos mtk6589 app to repartition the internal storage, as described in http://www.gizmochina.com/2014.....mtk6589-device/. I have increased my data partition to 2,5GB. This left just 200MB to phone storage, which is not really used, as I use the SD card.
I have problem with the gps. Many times lost the signal. This rom solves the problem ????
I'm using 3.4.67 kernel and 4.4.2 Android.
