   My regular OTA update to 2017-02-17 was a big failure. I am just right now only here on NeedRom, to go back to an earlier version. The 3 main problems of the new version are: Google Chrome with malware, with a long list of ad sites jumping to them every some minutes, about 2 hours complete unmotivated 100% CPU usage every some days and even the Google Play Store is infected with malware, jumping suddenly to complete sensless apps. I had to deactivate Google Chrome and install Google Cherom BETA instead.

     I had similar issues, doesn't matter which rom I used. The solution is to install "NoRoot Firewall" and block all apps wanting internet access! Just grant access to the ones you are just using. It seems malware is baked into all official roms from Doogee!
