DESCRIPTION
Original&untouched, complete OTA update from original 4.4.2 (KK) to 5.0.2 (LP) multilingual with several european and asian languages.
Download both (the file was splitted into 2 parts because of file size limitation) files: update_K920_S226_150429_ROW.part1.rar (SHA1: e9059f48ecc829f0d09a80b99aaaa817cfa27164) and update_K920_S226_150429_ROW.part2.rar (SHA1: 6411834916aacd2880dc03221c0af8b0f6f7038f); then place them both in one folder and ucompress the archive, using WinRAR – the result will be one file: update_K920_S226_150429_ROW.zip (SHA1: 304b69baeea26658713141c41a91e75991c9eddb).
Rename file update_K920_S226_150429_ROW.zip into update.zip, then place (copy) it in \googleota folder on your Lenovo K920 phone. After restart the installation starts automaticaly. Be patient – it takes about 10 mins. to be finished. No data will be lost or deleted during the update, but making a backup before installation is always reasonable.

Both rar files are containing 5% repair data.

For the time beeing, I am not quite sure which version: KK or LP is better for that particular, BTW fabulous, device from Lenovo. KK was pretty good! In LP some older functions are missing: security center, option to record every call, Lenovo calendar (very handy) etc. as an example.

I don't see the \googleota folder.
For this reason, I used your rom by using the lenovo recovery tool. For this, I had to rename the file to update.zip and place it in the root directory of the phone.
Then I ran the installation but about 50% the job is in error.
What can I do ?

build number vibeui-v2.5-1526-5.574.1st-k920
hardware version H-2-01
purchased from shanghai china, only have two langauges english and chinese with no google play store… I would like to install the above rom as it seems to support multi languages… however, there is a warning this rom may brick the phone…
I need a stock lolli pop that will have google play store in it….

Has anyone tried renaming any gapps ZIP file into "update.zip" and then putting it into \googleota and rebooting? I am incredibly curious if it works and flashez google applications and services onto the CN version of the phone. Will try it and post it when I get back home (in other words – tomorrow
