   Hello I would like to try this ROM.

   I still have my original ROM BUILD - UMI X2 20130520-193845. Can I install directly from recovery x2_1024_update_cleaned_380.zip?

   Boot into Recovery CWM and choose apply update from sdcard.

   Yes but the android density setting is 480 by default for umi. I changed this to 380 dpi which means that all ui elements are smaller and you have more space on app drawer and else …

      Just use Texdroider DPi,

      its simple and worked for me
