My friend Acid from MIUIANDROID.COM built multi-language MIUI for ZTE V987.
MIUI 3.8.9 (August 9th) for ZTE V987
Full wipe, flash rom, multilang, reboot, give it a few minutes (you can configure some settings etc.), go back to recovery and flash gapps.
In recoveries.7z there are 2 folders. "Nowsze" is newer version, recommended by Lewa, and "starsze" is older but very well tested, and recommended by Miui. However they both should do the job.
