DESCRIPTION


First attempt to make the software on ZP998 more useful ;-) . Download the zip file and expand it. Flash through SP Flash Tool. Untick PRELOADER (if you don't need it), flash as described with all other MTK-processor-related ROMs. For questions please follow the threads over at http://forum.zopomobileshop.com/forum.php.

Additional Info: This ROM is basically the same as the ROM released 06.01.2014. Missing Superuser "injected", CWM implemented and Busybox added, cleaned out (some Chinese programs removed). Programs which have not worked before do not work now ;-) .

    @fluffy: This feature doesn't work for now. Hope Zopo will give us the missing options with their next release (no idea when that will happen though). Waiting for your new ROM ;-) , feel free to use my attempt as a starting platform.

      hey i have allready deodexed it an made it flashable with cwm

      an that feture shut work because it worked in the firsat release rom

    Could anyone please uploads a recovery flashable rom (update.zip type)? I tried applying the flash tools update many times but with the driver connecting and disconnecting I cannot complete the process. It says it has an eMMM error and all I can do is boot into recovery.

    @icemefisto: The release ROM was rooted, but Superuser got killed somehow when Zopo flashed this ROM. My job was to search for the correct Superuser and "inject" it back into the system before it boots into OS. My tools: SP flash tool and MTKDroidTools. After getting root back I just cleared up and loaded the result up to needrom.
