Why the file is K3_NOTE_MM_6.0_1611_3.54.1_v17_ROW_D_CUOCO92.zip ?

    「Google 雲端硬碟」無法掃瞄這個檔案的病毒。

    K3_NOTE_MM_6.0_1611_3.54.1_v17_ROW_D_CUOCO92.zip (1.1G)超過可掃瞄的大小上限,您仍然想下載這個檔案嗎?

    仍要下載

    A quick update :

What bugs me most is the screen density. For me on the lenovo K3 note ,  I used the CM rom @ 400dpi.

This rom is set at 440.

Sharinf the steps to change that :

    1. Open Root Explorer.
    2. Go to /system
    3. Click on Mount RW (It should appear as Mount RO, that’s when it is correct!)
    4. Look for build.prop. Long press on the file and press Open file in Editor
    5. Scroll down to ro.sf.lcd_density=240
    6. Change the value to anywhere between 180 and 240. The lower the value, the higher density your screen will have.
    7. Click on the Menu button, and Save and Exit.
    8. Reboot.

    Detailed Review :

    1. The initial boot took time.

    2. Wifi , mobile data and all connections work.

    3. gapps are installed.

    4. Consider using a faster micro-sd card , if you want to move your apps to the sd card (Marshmellow considers microsd card as part of the internal storage)

    5. Dolby atmos included.

    6. 730 mb free memory on initial boot.

    7. fm works,

    8. Super SU included

It is my belief that what you wish for is a change to the chip (MT6752).

If there were other suppliers of phones that use the 6752 and they had band 20 – then I would agree that Lenovo could (perhaps) be persuaded. However, I have been unable to find another mobile manufacturer that uses the 6752 and offers band 20.

When I was researching this phone last year – the lack of band 20 did give me "pause for thought". (I am from the UK and the O2 network uses band 20 exclusively).

But, these bands will soon be outdated by TDD (which lenovo & 6752 has good support for). I believe this to be true because – as the popularity of 4G increases – FDD wont be able to sustain the quantity of users and phone companys will have to change to TDD.

Last – it may be that the MT7595 (same family) may resolve the issue because it (appears to) have 2 seperate modems – one for LTE and one for 2G/3G.

But, at the end of the day – one has to realise that market forces will drive the solution. Sadly, people update their mobiles far too frequently – thus; Lenovo & Mediatek's answer will probably be – "buy the new phone when we make it".

I wish you good luck in your quest.

      David
