Old version (4.2.2) was rooted… New ROM-Update (4.4.2) installed with Mobile Uncle Tools!
New Version can (till now) not be rooted, but in Net you can find div. Version of KingoRoot, the should be help!
On my Windows Version (W7 64) not works!

i have install this rom, (4.4.10) work fine, but not localized language are present like french, german and other… only english rom,
kingo root work fine and easy for rooting this phone
To beginn, after root & update was in my favorite Language (German)… Don´t know why, but now is all in english… Maybe coming some Language-update…

after restarting my phone from this update, he was in English Language…because is only a english backup from this update and not a full update from Gionee

I found this post containing the gionee stock roms but the need gnqc, can the 16gb e7 be used to create a cwm flashable rom ?

install via recovery, and rename the zip to update.zip. works to me
