DESCRIPTION
This is the official 4.2.2 ROM of ALPS/Star w800 (mtk6582), it was produced by backup of a brand new w800 device.
Extract and install using SP Flash Tools (link below – recommended version)
Extract rom and flashtools in separate folders
Run flashtools as administrator
Go to Download tab
Press "Scatter-loading"
Select "MT6582_Android_scatter.txt" which is packaged with the rom files
On the dropdwon menu bleow select "firmware update"
Power off the phone and take the battery out
Press "Download" and connect the device with the computer (wait for a while)
–If nothing happens put the battery back to the device–
A red progress bar should show up, wait for 15-30 minutes to finish.
When the process is done a new window with a green tick mark will pop up.
Unplug the phone and Enjoy!
