DESCRIPTION

This mod restores the Zopo ZP998 stock logo and bootanimation. Tested on Android 4.2.2.

You only need this if you have installed a custom logo or bootanimation, and you now want to return to the stock versions. I found myself in this situation after trying some of the custom logos and bootanimations available here, and this has proved a useful mod to have. I thought I should share it with others. It works for me, but your mileage may vary.

Resolution: 1080 x 1920

Installation: install with TWRP or CWM in the normal way (i.e., zip update).

NOTE: it seems that there may be more than one stock/official bootanimation? If so, here is a brief description of the three versions of this mod (all from alleged "official" Zopo ROMs);

v1: Zopo logo – animation is Zopo logo with changing text colours

v2: Zopo logo – animation is a spinning coin with android picture in it

v3: Zopo logo – not animated at all, it seems

    Well, I took the bootamination from the Zopo 18.06.2014 update – unless someone had changed the bootanimation in the release before being released. Is there only one stock bootanimation?

    I knew two versions: 1. animated with sound and 2. just the zopo logo

    Thanks. Your number 2 is probably the same as my v3 above.

    With regard to sound, that is not necessarily relevant to animation – whether there is sound or not just depends on whether certain mp3 files exist in the /system/media directory (e.g., bootaudio.mp3). None of the animation mods that I have seen here touches the boot or shutdown audio files, and so I have not touched them either.
